One of the baby things I never purchased was a diaper bag. I figured I have a lot of tote bags that pass as our diaper bag. I am one of the few moms who find diaper bags really unnecessary. Although I was gifted by friends with a few ones, we still prefer the ever roomy ordinary backpacks or my ever so trusty tote bags.
When it was just lil’ Ms. GJG, packing a diaper bag was easy peasy. A little tote bag is all we need to put the essentials: milk, water, nappies, a set of extra clothes, face towels and wipes. These sometimes can even fit inside my own bag. So being out and about with her wasn’t a major production number. But when lil’ Mr. GJG came along, our diaper bag consisted of everything multiplied by two.
Here’s a look at our current diaper bag. Everything’s wedged in as we have to make all the essentials fit into one bag. Why? Because it’s hard enough to tote two toddlers with two diaper bags plus my personal bag. It’s a production number I tell ya, plus its not really practical. I guess the reason why we never give in to buying diaper bags is because we haven’t really found the prefect one.
Then I discovered Okiedog, I think we found the perfect nappy bag.

Meet Okiedog’s Sumo bag.
The name says it all. My first impression? It’s not the usual diaper bag. I like how discreet it looks but still presents a modern design.
You know its a good bag if it has a lot of compartments.

Another great feature of the Sumo bag is that you can wear it in three different ways: hand bag, shoulder bag/sling bag and as a backpack.
What a spacious bag! It has built in hooks and inside pockets made for organizing all the things we throw in our children’s diaper bag.
Three bonus items are included when you get an Okiedog Sumo bag: a pouch bag, insulated bottle bag, and an anti-bacterial changing mat.
What sets apart the Okiedog Sumo bag is the Clipix stroller clips that comes with it. Hanging our diaper bag on our stroller is usually one of the tight-corners we have to deal with every time we’re out. It’s always one sided as our tote diaper bag isn’t long enough to cover two handles of the stroller. So I’m really excited to bring this baby out with us but first, I gotta learn how to assemble it.
It’s easy really. Just connect the rubber pods unto the strap.
There are two sets rubber pods that you can attach to the Clipix straps. Choosing what to put will depend if your stroller has thick or thin handles.
This is what it looks like once the pods are attached to the straps.
The piece that you’ll attach to your stroller is adjustable with its velcro straps.
Simply slide the hook where you’ll attach your Okiedog bag into the Clipix straps.

Here’s what our new diaper bag looks like. Okiedog Sumo bag is perfect for us because it can fit everything my kids need. It still has enough room to put other things inside, the pockets barely had anything in it.

The hook securely holds the bag in place.
Okiedog also has a luxe line that offers a more sophisticated design and style.
They also have the Wildpack collection where kids get to enjoy back packs, lunch boxes, luggages in their favorite animal design.
I haven’t seen the Luxe and Wildpack collection up close but hopefully when I do, I can also share to you what they look like.
Ending this with my top five reasons why I love Okiedog Sumo bag.
1. It’s lightweight, roomy and has a lot of compartments making it easy to organize and segregate things.
2. It comes with an insulated bottle bag, pouch and changing mat.
3. You can wear it three ways: hand bag, shoulder/body bag and back pack.
4. It also comes exclusively with a Clipix set that works with any type of stroller.
5. It doesn’t look like a diaper bag at all. It offers simple yet modern design, making it easy to fit the Sumo to your lifestyle.
