Celebrated 4th of July this year the way Americans do–BBQ & beer with family & friends. So off we went to Mighty Quinns at Powerplant Mall to try their July Specials.
Celebrated with the usual people I hang out with–Alyssa & Jeff.
And of course with my (Instagram) husband. Hihi.
The original Pitmaster of New York and Mighty Quinns founder, Hugh Mangum was there to celebrate with us! Here he was introducing us to their July Specials:
Beast Burger and the Spare Ribs Unagi
These are portion sized for the guests that night. You’ll see the actual serving size on the next photos.
Manila Creamsicle Milkshake
A classic American Creamsicle Milkshake with a refreshing calamansi twists. Topped with whipped cream and a crunchy Biscoff cookie.
It’s got a bit of a tangy taste yet compliments the creamy sweet milkshake.
Joe’s Brew Craft Beers are also being served at Mighty Quinns.
They’ve got two variants:
Fish Rider Pale Ale
Medium body, strong citrus aromas backed by a strong caramel malt flavour.
Sierra Madre Wheat Ale
Light body, soft floral and fruit aroma, with a lightly yet sharp bitterness in flavor.
Beast Burger
A meat lover’s burger which boasts two kinds of premium slow smoked barbeque, with four times more meat than their regular burgers. Topped with their signature slaw and sandwiched between two toasted brioche buns served with a side of crispy sweet potato chips.
Spare Ribs Unagi
Mighty Quinns signature slow smoked St. Louis cut spareribs, blessed with more umami flavour by way of a sweet yet savoury caramelized unagi sauce glaze served with complimentary pickles, slaw, and your choice of garlic or dirty rice.
I’m a bit biased with the Beast Burger because I love me a good one! The two kinds of premium slow smoked BBQ was goooooood!
Catch these off the menu dishes for the whole month of July only!
