Mañosa Noodles, Seafood & Chops, one of the oldest restaurants here in Manila recently opened a branch along Wilson St. in San Juan. One late night hubby and I decided to have a quick dinner there, they were on soft opening then.
It’s quite hard to read their menu, the not-so-good-combination of yellow on red orange t isn’t as readable as using black font on colored background.
Mañosa’s famous for their Maki dish.
Mañosa’s Maki 110 php. I’m not really a fan of maki and I find that they all taste the same but in all fairness the pork was tender.
Sweet and Sour Pork Rice 99 php. I love anything Sweet & Sour! Mañosa’s was okay, the sauce tasted good but the pork wasn’t as tender as I expected it to be.
Pork Siomai 75 php. Hubby who’s a big fan of siomai was a bit disappointed with Mañosa’s siomai. According to him it tasted “synthetic” and wasn’t as flavorful as he remembered.
Some of the food we wanted to order weren’t available so maybe next time we’ll go back or have it delivered instead. Yes, they deliver but best to call them if your area is covered.

I love anything na Sweet and Sour! So far, pinaka love ko is Sweet and Sour ng Jade Palace. We always eat there pag nasa Pasig kami… Yummy ba yung Sweet & Sour?
Will try this resto pag nadaan kami since they also have a branch naman in QC.
