Luxury Eyewear Fall Winter 2013

How many of you have ever used a good looking shades to get away with the no eye make up look? I know I have. Aminin, lakas maka-celebrity ng dating or even donyabells whenever you wear a luxury piece of eyewear. I kinda feel like I can get away with anything whenever I wear one.

O di vez? Lakas maka-ganda if you’re wearing a lovely pair of shades!

You tend to feel like you belong in the pedestal of celebrities.

Leveling with Rihanna and her Miu Miu Rasoir.

Or channel the inner Claudia Schiffer with a D&G pair.

Feel like a VS angel like Miranda Kerr with this Prada pair.

For the guys, unleash the secret agent in you and be like 007 with a pair of Persol.

So when I visited Eye Society and got a closer look at the Fall/Winter 2013 collection of the luxury brands they carry, immediately I went gaga! So many chic sunnies and prescription frames, only one me! Heehee.

 The FW 2013 collection were presented according to four key trends: Geo Future, High Tea, Printed Matters and Black is Back.

The Printed Matters trend showcased shades and glasses that have prints either found in the exterior or interior part of the eyewear.

These funky Tory Burch printed sunnies are just too adorbs!

Tory Burch wooden sunnies, doncha worry it’s not heavy at all. Chic na, Eco-friendly pa. Hi Tita K!

Here’s Tin trying on Oliver Peoples which is part of the Black is Back trend. It’s understated yet gives a very chic look don’t you think?

Most of the time, it’s a hassle when you’re wearing shades or glasses then suddenly temperature shifts and fog appears on the lens. With this Oliver Peoples pair, you’ll find yourself loving your fogged shades as the logo presents itself. Coolness!

Now, my favorite trend amongst the four, High Tea. Sir, madam, teas and pearls. Love!

Look at how charming the decoré is for this trend? Lakas maka-Marie Antoinette! Ahihi.

I am totally in love with this D&G Flower pair. It’s so trendy yet the shape is such a classic. F na f ko ang pagiging donyabells!

“Facundo, diligan ang mga flowers! Ora mismo!” Heehee. These decadent looking flowers are resin-molded and screwed tightly unto the shades. It won’t be easy as picking it out like the real thing. 😉

I was smitten with this Bulgari Heritage Collection sunnies! Inspired by an exquisite Bulgari neckpiece made in the 1950’s-27 teardrop-shaped emerald green stones surrounded by intricately cut diamond glids. An elegantly framed pair marked by a singular emerald gemstone circled with Austrian pave crystals. iWannet! I can save up for this lovely piece and proudly have a piece of Bulgari Heritage! 😉

Now for some Geo Future lovin’, This Prade Poeme is part of the special collection of the brand, a marriage between sophistication and trendy. iWannet. iNeedet! Demmet! This speaks of modern-day young donyabelles no? So dreamy!

Fitting fitting pag may time! Here are the original donyabelles, Tin Dychiao and Karrots Nazareno and me as their drivamchi (read: driver sweet lover) for the day. Ahihi. Tin wears the soshaling Prada Poeme, Karrots sporting the macho-gwapito D&G aviators & your truly in shinning shimmering D&G Glitters.

So after much deliberation and asking opinions, views and advice (haha, parang VO lang for a TV show) from these donyabelles, this pretty went home with me.

Lovely D&G Glitter sunnies from the FW 2013 collection.

Tortoise frame on the outside, shinning, shimmering, splendid glitters on the inside! Wayfarer meets cat eye. I love the shape and size. Perfection!

Temples are embossed with gold D&G. Simple pero rock. Heehee.I love that it gives off a certain donya feel yet can be worn casually. Did I mention it’s lightweight?
