The buzz that Torch Restaurant has given is loud enough to make even the not-so experimental people curious to try it. It was only recent that I got familiar with this restaurant that offers international fusion cuisine, as one of my grade school friends came home to Manila for a quick vacation. Mr. GJG and I immediately fell in love with their steak! So when Marj Sia of The Traveling Heels invited me along with other bloggers for a night of sumptuous dinning, I immediately said yes!
*Warning: food porn*
Torch Restaurant is one of Manila’s best restaurant which serves an array of cuisine from thin crisp gourmet pizzas, sizzling marbled angus steaks, and oven baked sushis. There is surely anything for everyone. Serving breakfast from 7:00AM until late hours for cocktails. Perfect for dates, families, and friends. It’s a must go to when in Manila!
Potato String Fries
Truffle Fries is indeed their best-selling appetizer. Who can resist fries + truffle?!
Mushroom Bisque (note that this serving is just half of the actual serving, Torch didn’t want us to get all full with the yummy appetizers)
Signature Beer-Tail Mango Daiquiri was one yummy cocktail (yes, I did sip!) Perfect drink if you’re on a date as it’s good for sharing.
Steak Panizza.
Yes, it’s a make your own panizza.
Viola!
Snowflake Coco-Lychee Martini Slush. Yum! A good drink for the ladies.
Torch’s salad bar.

Bestie, Seph & Earth try it out.
Lookie! Steak was cooked in olive oil, comes with three different dips to choose from.
Salpicao Medallion was our favorite. It’s served on a slab of hot granite so it stays warm up until you finish the entire dish.
Steak and red wine= perfect duo.
Panna Cotta with Fresh Fruits (sample size)
Ana of The Fashionista Commuter, Shen of Shen’s Addiction, Raleene of Raleene.com, Mich and Pax of Drowning Equilibriums enjoying the sumptuous feast.
Sarah won best dressed that night. Check her Torch-inspired outfitey. Fierce! She won a year supply of sushi! Pak!
Anyway since most of what we tasted during the bloggers’ night were what we ordered during our night out with friends, I just added the desserts we ordered.
