It’s one of the basic pieces everyone has in their closets. We don’t go out without wearing them and oftentimes we have our personal favorites. Can you guess what I’m talking about?
Yes, intimates! Shining the spotlight on undergarments as I went to Wacoal Mood last month to check out their pieces. If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably seen my stories during my visit. They’ve got the most interactive dressing room ever! You can choose your own playlist, doodle on their graffiti wall, take pretty selfies (all thanks to their very flattering lights) or just chill for a bit as soon as you’ve got your picks.
They’ve got a bunch of designs to choose from. From basic neutral colors to feminine and fun prints. I don’t really wear printed nor loud undergarments (I stick to nude and black, lace and plain) but I got this printed one because it’s feminine and cute plus when I tried it on, I was surprised to see it looks good on me! ?
Anyhow, Wacoal Mood is a brand under Wacoal Philippines that caters to the millennial today (ahem ahem hihi) by bringing the most comfy and stylish underwear that comes with playful color palettes plus plain colors for the basics and stunning designs/styles which they believe can suit every mood.
Really glad I got the travel bras in black and nude (see the first two photos). I’ve been bringing them with me to my travels since I got them. Wacoal Mood is the first brand to release a travel bra, designed for women who love to travel.
Here I am wearing them travel bras during my China trip. I love that I can easily pack it (you can roll it up as seen in the photo) without having to worry if it gets distorted. No need for those bulky bra bags na when you have these Wacoal Mood travel bras. Plus it’s affordable. A Mood Travel bra is at Php 1,495. Pasok sa budget! ?
They’re padded & soft yet gives the right support and shape. Best of all they’re non-wired. This is huge for me because when I was in my early teen years I developed a lump on one of my breasts (I forget which one ?) because of my wearing wired bras. I got super paranoid about it until eventually my OB Gyne told me to hold off wearing wired bras because if it doesn’t fit well it can cause lumps nga. So ladies it’s really best to have yourself measured to know what size you should wear. Since I’ve had two pregnancies my bra size changed over the years. I can’t even remember the last time I had myself to measured. If you’re uncertain of what size to wear well Wacoal Mood can help you with this. Before fitting any bra their sales assistant will get your measurements first. They can also teach you how to properly wear a bra (I would show you but that would be too much! Hahaha) yes there’s a way!
Aside from the travel bras I also got this high waist bottom that serves as a bikini as well. It has a matching (equally cute) bra but it doesn’t have it in my size so I decided to just go for the bottom.
So if you love to travel but hate bringing and packing a lot of stuff best to get pieces that serve a double purpose just like this one.
I wore it during our El Nido trip! Love how I can easily mix and match it according to my mood. See what I did there? ?
