The moment she laid eyes on this pair, her first question to me was “Mom, look at my shoes! It’s not the same o?” And I gleefully answered, “Don’t you like that you have a pretty unique pair of shoes?” To which she replied, “I like it, it’s so pretty!”
This is currently Gabbie’s favourite pair of shoes. She would get a lot of compliments every time she wears it. Funny how, even the old folks would come up to her or to me, coyly pointing at how different her shoes are. We just smile, replying “It is pretty different!” 🙂
