I have shared with you my breastfeeding experience before and I’ve been getting a few questions as how I can share tips to increase my milk supply. Well it’s no secret that I’ve raved about one of the many things that has greatly helped me with my breastfeeding journey, Mommy Treats.
How Mommy Treats Began
Did you know what Mommy Treats came about from my own failures with breastfeeding? I was a struggling first time mom then. No yaya, no breastfeeding support group, tremendous doubts with my milk supply, stressed about the repercussions of leaving my job, and worried that I will not be the perfect mom that I wanted to be.
But that’s the beauty of it, mommies! I eventually realized that there’s no such thing as a “perfect” mom! What I am is a REAL MOM! A mom who may be imperfect but is still able to surpass any bump on the road! We’re powered by our determination, our love for our family, and our faith in our capabilities to juggle all the responsibilities of motherhood!
So I chose to embrace my shortcomings and let it challenge me. I knew that I had it in me to turn something negative into something beautiful!
Everyday, I am thankful for the challenges life has given me after the birth of my daughter. My stumbles had inspired me to do great things like putting up Mommy Treats. I am proud to be reaching out to other moms and giving them the same sense of empowerment through the treats that I bake and the encouragement that I’m happy to share.
So may it be your a low milk supply, a post-pregnancy belly that doesn’t seem to go away, struggles with potty-training, or any fear that may rob your of your sense of calm…don’t worry, mommy. It’ll all be okay. You’re a Real Mom and real moms always have happy endings. Let your imperfections empower you!
I first met Paola, the woman behind Mommy Treats more than a year ago as we attend a baking class together. Little did I know that she was The Paola Loot behind the yummy lactation goodies. Since then we became online friends.
My seatmate and ka-chikahan Paola during our baking class, this was taken October of 2011.
The next time I saw her was during the Yummy Eats Hunt’s Mom-Child Cook-off. I was six months pregnant then to lil’ Mr. GJG.
Three months after we last saw each other, I gave birth to my darling baby boy. It was also then that I first tasted Mommy Treats.
Assorted Oatmeal Choco Chip and Raisin Cookies. They’re bite size so it’s easy to eat and they’re crunchy!
Assorted Muffin Bites.
My favorite flavor is Mommy Treat’s Banana Oat Muffin Bites. They’re so good!
The latest product of Mommy Treats is this yummy sugar and dairy free lactation chocolate spoons. Mix them with your usual drink of coffee, tea or milk and viola!
One of their best sellers is these individually packed brownies that are just so delicious, making eating more while nursing a delight!
Gone in 60 seconds! heehee So chewy soft and moist!
Yummy brownie goodness! This is by far my favorite. I super duper love it! And if you ask me if it’s effective in increasing milk supply? Well it sure it is! I’m almost four months into my breastfeeding journey and so far I have no problems with my milk supply. Lil’ Mr. GJG is very much satisfied with the adequate amount of milk he drinks.
Would I recommend Mommy Treats to my breastfeeding mommy friends? Definitely.
This is also a perfect gift for your girl friends who are nursing their little one. I’m sure they’ll be thankful for such a thoughtful and yummy gift.
