La Union Eats

The weekend we went to La Union and stayed at Aureo, we went out to check the food scene. Since Aureo is in San Fernando we had to drive 5kms about 30 minutes to get to San Juan which is the surf side of La Union.

So it’s been a decade since Mr. JG & I were on this side of La Union. I barely remember anything except the impromptu surf lessons we had then.

The food complex called The Great Northwest Philippines Travel Stop and Viewing Deck offers a variety of food choices–Papa Bear, Makai Bowls, Sabong Chicken, Great Gamble and El Union Coffee to name a few.

More food from Great Gamble. We tried the Crab Burger and another Scallop Roll.

Ended our feast with Smores and Horchata Coffee from El Union.

All full and all tanned out!

Now we’ve truly added La Union to our list of out of town places to be.
