I’ve never given much thought about my feet on how they look and how they feel when I walk. Although I’ve always said that I dislike my legs ‘coz I find them too masculine with all the muscles protruding. With my feet, they’re okay. Normal looking, still not on the feminine side. Anyway, I’m sharing with you all my Dr. Kong discovery and how I got to know my feet a little bit more. Heehee.
They have cute shoes for girls and boys, as well as for men and women. These were some of the shoes that were on sale when I went to their Robinsons Galleria branch.
I was really looking for shoes for my kids. You know how it is when you have kids, they always need a new pair of shoes or a new set of clothes. Or maybe that’s just me?! Hahaha. Anyway, after choosing shoes for my kids, I was offered by one of the SAs if I want to have my feet analyzed. Ummm. Keribells.
Time space warp levelz! This thingamajig was used to scan my feet. You just stand on it and it does its magic! Heehee.
Oh my gulay look at how weird my left foot is! What is not pantay?!
Then after, they’ll let you stand on another contraption that serves as a foot stamp where you can get your foot imprint.
Here’s what my feet look like. Remember the time you were born where doctors get your feet imprint? This is quite the same. Although, this one has a purpose other than a souvenir of your newborn self. So ang ganap eh I am flat footed daw! Whaaaat?! But look at my feet print, they have gaps on the inner side of the sole naman ah, flat footed ones don’t. How did that happen?!
I also found out that I have Heel Valgus. A condition when your inner ankles are drawn together. Eeep!
Plus, I have a mild case of Hallux Valgus. It’s a condition where your big toe tends to go inwards. Often times, women who likes wearing pointy shoes suffer from this condition as the toes are cramped in a small pointy space. Hala! Scaribells! Eventually, if not corrected it could get worse and might need surgery.
Good thing there’s a toe brace from Dr. Kong that can correct Hallux Valgus. It helps straighten your big toe, which prevents it from overlapping with your other toes. I also bought an insole and a toe protector to help me achieve better walking and posture. You know if you can’t properly walk, your posture is also affected. That is why I’m somekinda kampanerang kuba 🙁
Anyway, I’m happy I was able to get my kids some corrective shoes.
Here’s lil’ Mr. GJG’s cute shoes which I got on sale for 800 php.
Here’s lil’ Ms GJG’s cute nautical Dr. Kong shoes that I got for 2,000+ php. Both soles of my kids’ shoes are removable and can be used on other shoes to help stabilize their growing feet.
