As someone who loves anything sweet, learning there’s a new donut store that landed the shores of Manila got me giddy like a kid again. So when I got the chance to head over to Megamall soon after J.Co Donuts was open for public, I wasted no time.
Unique flavors of donuts made it really hard for me to choose, their quirky names say it all.
Aside from donuts, J. Co also offers a wide variety of drinks ranging from coffee, frap to tea.
Not a fan of drinks? Well they have fat free frozen yogurt too! Looks yummy, too bad I wasn’t able to try one.
Finally decided what donuts to try.
From top: Choco Caviar, Al Capone, Heaven Berry, Tira Mis U, Glazzy, Green Tease.
Choco Caviar. For the chocolate lover, this one’s for you. Choco-glazed donut with choco crisps on top.
Al Capone. Vanilla glazed topped with almond. Reminds me of a bread from a famous Bread Shop.
Heaven Berry. Creamy donut with a hint of strawberry.
Tira Mis U. It’s exactly what it is, yummy cream of Tiramusu.
Glazzy. J.Co’s version of glazed donut.
Green Tease. Green Tea mixed with almond nuts for a creamy crunchy experience.
J. Co donuts are perfect for those who want a unique kind of donut without being a sweet tooth. I find the sweetness of their donuts just right, enough to give your sweet tooth it’s craving but at the same time tickle your taste buds with its unusually flavors & infusion of ingredients. Out of the six donuts I’ve tried, I have to say that Tira Mis U is my favorite. It definitely has satisfied the coffee and sweet lover in me, it’s something refreshingly new to my palette.
