When you get an invite for a shopping event, you go no questions asked, especially if it’s make up and skin care.

Luxasia Prestige Cosmetics launched its International Press Shopping Day with Shiseido, Elizabeth Arden and Guerlain to unveil the Autumn/Winter Collection 2016.

The International Press Shopping Day is an invite-only event infused with concepts of luxury, prestige, brand personality and exciting shopping options which I together with my fellow bloggers, influencers and editors got to experience.

Held last August 24 at The Gallery of Greenbelt 5, the International Press Shopping Day features a luxury shopping environment, simulating the houses of Shishedo, Elizabeth Arden and Guerlain. We were provided our own event currency wherein social media plays a role in earning interest and increasing the value of the Prestige Currency–converted to the brand currency of our choice to purchase any of the brands’ offerings. The event not only tested our patience, flatlay skills, real-time social media capabilities, but as well as our ability so compute and decide under time pressure (which I totally suck at). When you’re presented with a bunch of options, it’s really hard to decide. What could’ve been an hour of shopping became close to three hours for me and Angela of Lush Angel. Heehee.

I want everything in this photo! In the end all the postings I did on my Facebook garnered me to bring home these beauties.

I was so tempted to get a Shisheido Rogue Rogue or a Guerlain Kiss Kiss lipstick because I’m such a lipstick kind of girl but I figured I take this opportunity to get me some base products instead ‘coz I don’t have much of it. I’m a fan of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and I some of its variants–Lotus, Lavender, Camilia–so it was natural for me to get the Nectarine Blossom. It was immediately on top of my list. Hopefully I get the other variants–Bamboo, Revitalise, Yuzu, Tropical, Jasmine, Spiced, Cherry Blossom and what else is out there–so I can add it to my growing collection. 😀
