Remember the giveaway I hosted a few weeks ago here on the blog, where I was looking for a hair colour partner? Well, I was able to choose and we went on a parlour date together!
Our chosen salon was Philippe Tordjman Le Salon located at Sofitel Hotel in Manila.
When I asked my colourist what hair colour I should wear, she suggested I get highlights instead.
Sadako lang?! This is actually my first time to get highlights.So that’s what the foil wraps are for heehee.
After almost two hours, we now have gandang parlor look.
Meet my blog reader, Yem Li. She’s a first time mom (follow her blog http://cluelessmominmanila.com) and a corporate warrior. Her hair has been damaged due to the perming and coloring she did more than year ago, even before she was pregnant. She was sporting an ombre kinda hair when I saw her minutes before our treatment. Our chikahan portion took off the moment we sat down beside each other, talking about breastfeeding and blogging.
Yem actually wanted a light coloured hair but her colourist suggested she sticks to dark brown first to let her hair recover from the trauma it had been through. Look at how healthy her hair is now, so bouncy and full of life! Yem, i-achieve mo na to by alloying 15 minutes to blow dry your hair everyday. 😉
Here’s my hair. Retouched roots and pretty highlights that added depth and volume to my hair. I think I want to to have highlights forever! Heehee.
