I’m lucky I have a loving and supportive mother-in-law . Living five minutes away from her and my father-in-law lets us see them almost everyday. I would often ask her out for a grocery or shopping date or just hang out at their home or at ours.
One of the things Mr. JG & I find hard to do is gifting my parents-in-law especially my mom-in-law. For someone who doesn’t really want anything and have everything she needs, what do you give?
Meet my mom-in-law, our Mama! Mother’s Day usually falls on her birthday and every year it’s a challenge to find her something that she would appreciate aka something she can truly use. 
I’m lucky because despite having challenges when it comes to keeping a good help that can get me through taking care of my kids & running our household, she’s there. She would offer to watch my kids when I need to (travel for) work. 
She’s one funny Ahma according to my kids and they love spending time with her as much as they do with me. So we’re really grateful for her and for the things she does for our family. But again, what do you give someone who has everything?
Well we like to give our Mama shoes because it’s one practical gift to give. Though there are so many shoes out there, there’s only a few that she truly likes. Thankfully she likes The Body Shoe from Hush Puppies.
