How To Make A Selecta Ice Cream Cake + Giveaway

Selecta Ice Cream invited a handful of bloggers to visit their ice cream plant in Pasig last May. I was like a kid upon seeing the place where ice cream is made! Everything was pretty and sweet heehee. Anyway, soon after the tour we had a chance to make our own ice cream cake. Hoooraaay!

Each of us had a Pyrex (glass container), stainless steel spatula, a tub of Selecta Super Thick Trio Ice Cream (chocolate, matekado and mango) and two packs of Graham crackers. Now, let’s make some ice cream cake!

Here’s how my lil’ Ms. GJG did it.

Step 1: Arrange the graham crackers in the container.

Step 2: Scoop and flatten an ample amount of Selecta thick ice cream (your choice of flavor)

Step 3: Repeat steps 1 & 2 alternating the ice cream flavors.

Step 4: Sprinkle it with your favorite treats.

Refrigerate overnight so it’ll be ready to serve the next day.

I asked Gabbie to pick out the treats that she wanted to sprinkle on our ice cream cake and here are her choices. Gummy bears, cereal fruit balls, mango, strawberry, kiwi, marshmallow, chocolates and candy sprinkles.

We did get to enjoy a slice of Selecta ice cream cake (which we didn’t make but is equally yummy!) Look at how pretty it is, I just had to take a photo before I devoured it! Heehee.

Amanda Griffin Jacob with Juro Go

While Gabbie & I were busy, my gwapito was entertained by no-less than pretty mom Amanda Griffin, whom I met a few times now. A year ago we were both pregnant with our second child and now here we are with almost a year old kids! My lil’Mr. GJG sure like pretty girls.

Thank you Selecta for the treat. So excited to make our own ice cream cake here at home. It’s a perfect activity with your kids ha. What better way to spend time with them than to have fun that involves ice cream? Sweet!

Wow! of course Id rather choose this blog kasi im a food lover.. and hindi ko naisip na pwede palang ice cream na lang ang ilagay instead of other creams.. atleast No need to worry about the taste because It is ready made. And also I like the Idea that even kids can make their own cakes because It is easy to do..
