There’s another shoe brand that has landed the shores of the Philippines and it offers sensible shoes that Filipinas will love. Heatwave shoes launched here in Manila last month and they showcased their collection through an intimate event where shoe lovers gathered to get first dibs on the brand.
Spot my personalized cupcake. So giddy to see a dessert buffet during the launch. Heehee.
Because I believe shoes and sweets go well together. 😀
I had to snap a photo before I devoured it! 😀
Singaporean brand Heatwave was borne out of a meager shop in the island city to a full-scale footwear brand known for its comfortable, fashionable footwear made for its customers in hands-on, small scale production houses. It’s a personal endeavor by its owners, who have made it a point to craft each collection based on trends, practicality and comfort. Translate these design room ideas to form, by way of hand-crafted manufacturing – eight people work together to produce a single Heatwave pair. This in-house, personal approach to production is testament that the brand is the kind that’s in tune with its customers, who look for well-designed, high quality shoes they can keep for years—that’s why each Heatwave pair is designed with simplicity and elegance in mind, with monthly installments to the seasonal collection, to give clients something to look forward to.
I still honestly can’t believe that an International brand that offers sensible shoes has a small scale production house. Attention to detail and quality control over each pair is evident and that’s not only what makes Heatwave shoes a hit- their designs vary from trendy to classic, which pretty much appeals to women who loves, well, shoes!
Did I mention they also have bags? Yes!
If I’m not mistaken price starts at P1,800 for a pair of Heatwave shoes, but it would depend on the style you fancy. They have half sizes and while some says sizing is true to size, it’s not for me. I’m usually a size 7.5-8 but with Heatwave, I’m a size 7.
As always, I felt pressured to choose a pair. But after some bubbly and sweets, I finally managed to narrow down my choices. It was down to these two, both are timeless and can spruce up my black/white outfit obsession. Can you guess which one I picked? 🙂
Shari, Angela and I enjoyed shoe shopping. Thanks for having us Heatwave. 🙂
Heatwave shoes will soon be available online at TheShop.ph and will open its first store at SM North EDSA on October. Welcome to the Philippines, Heatwave!
