You might be wondering what is up with the title of this post. This is the outfit that I wore when I attended Le Spa’s event at Sofitel Hotel in Manila. That same day where my front left tire went flat on me. Which lead me to change my tire wearing this number! Kaloka di ba? Good thing I was still inside the premises of Sofitel when I noticed I had a flat tire. As I parked and started replacing my tire, a security guard drove by and immediately called for help. I assume the guy he called to assist me was from the valet/parking department. He helped me carry the oh-so heavy tire while I was able to unscrew the bolts.
Here’s a souvenir photo which I took moments before I dove on the floor and became Handy Jackie! 😉
Thank you to the staff of Sofitel Hotel Manila for assisting me. I was lucky my tire got flat in a place I am comfortable changing it. Otherwise, I would’ve called a towing service if I were stuck on a street elsewhere. Anyway, here’s my outfitey that day.
I have to say, nawala talaga ang poise and bearing ko nun! Good thing I always have my driving shoes with me whenever I wear heels. It’s good to have one because you wouldn’t want to ruin a nice pair of shoes while driving di ba? If I didn’t, Barefoot Contessa levelz ako that surprising day.
Starting to have a nice relationship with prints. As I mentioned before, allergic ako with printed dresses even tops or blouses. Why? Because I find it unpolished, underdressed even and most of the time not pleasing to look at. But I’ve learned that you gotta look for those prints that are flattering to your body and of course to your personality. How would you know?
Here’s a tip: when shopping for clothes that you’re not used to shop, always fit them first. If it already fits nicely but you’re still apprehensive about buying it because of the print, take a selfie wearing it. Yes, this is when a selfie comes in handy. You get to see in a photo what you look like wearing it. Sometimes kasi the eyes can be tricky. We think something looks good on us just by seeing ourselves in the mirror, but it’s a whole different look when you see yourself from a another angle.
Ang haba ng sinabi ko but in fairness it makes sense naman right? 🙂
What I don’t like about prints lang is that most of the time, it emphasizes my bloated belly aka puson. Sigh. I really need to pull myself together and workout insanely to achieve abs! I don’t want to rely on bodysuits forever! 🙁 Push ko na talaga maging healthy, toned at may abs! Abangan heehee.
