My lil’ Ms. GJG celebrated her birthday in school as her day fell on a Monday. When I first asked her what theme she wants, she was certain of Hello Kitty. But that soon changed when we watched Disney’s Frozen the movie. I tell you, there’s a Frozen frenzy going around! I even have some take aways from the movie, which I shall share on a separate post. Back to the birthday, since that’s all she ever wanted, we gave her request.
Thank God for DIY moms, I was able to find Frozen elements for lil’ Ms. GJG’s school party. I have to thank Homeketeers.com for posting free Frozen printables which I used for Gabbie’s party.
Stamped the names of Gabbie’s classmates and used old snowflake stickers from my scrap booking days!
A create your own Olaf the snowman is included with the invite. I got this from Catching Up With Kate.
The invite that I printed was actually a bag topper but since Gabbie loved how the characters were drawn, we decided to use it as an invitation instead, which is also from Homekeeters.
For the kids’ activity I opted for something that can help them mellow and settle down after having their snacks, before proceeding playing parlour games that Mika’s ( who has the same birthday as my lil’ Ms. GJG) mom prepared. I got these Frozen colouring pages from Babble.com. It was such a hit among Gabbie’s friends as everyone was eager to give color and life to their Elsa, Anna and Kristoff!
There’s also a Frozen maze where they have to help Sven the reindeer find Olaf.
For food, I coordinated with Mika’s mom on what we can serve the kids. Most of them liked spaghetti (a no-brainer kid’s meal) so we opted to order from Jollibee instead of cooking because we find it more convenient to have it delivered straight to school.
Lil’ Ms. GJG’s classmates enjoying coloring Anna.
My lil’ princess and her Elsa. She was in a hurry to finish colouring as she wants to start answering the maze.
Here’s the birthday girl with her Shoti trying to solve the maze. Shempre lil’ Mr. GJG was just there for fun but look at how cute his reaction is, as if he’s really trying so hard to solve the maze!
Now the moment they’ve all been waiting for- blowing of the candle!
The lovely Frozen cake received a lot of swooning! The kids were so amazed at how beautiful the cake was!
Here’s my baby girl making a wish before blowing her cake!
Lil’ Mr. GJG with hisย kumpare,ย Xavi- Tin Dychiao of Manila Fashion Observer’s baby boy!
Juro: Pare, great minds think a like no?
Xavi: Yep!

I printed this cupcake topper on photo paper, which is also from Homesketeer.
Topped it on the rainbow cupcakes from Tazzy Cakes, cupcake cups from Paper Chic Studio.

Wow, you really did a great job with the party! My son is turning 8, and so he’s really into big boy stuff now like Beyblade, Dragon Ball and Minecraft. Girls’ stuff are much nicer hehehe.

RL is crazy over Lego. But I know that a Lego-themed birthday, kahit sa school lang, will be pretty expensive to pull off! LOL!
