The Frozen frenzy has no plans of backing down, especially for the GJGs. Actually, even my other friends tell me their kids aren’t really over Frozen. The sorching summer heat even prompts all parents and children to relinquish outdoor activity and just stay indoors while the air conditioner is on full blast, all comfy in their beds while watching Frozen the movie. Yep. I feel those families as we are one of them. The look on lil’ Ms. GJG every time we imitate the cool feeling of experiencing snow and touching ice has somewhat convinced me to bid summer goodbye earlier than usual. What validated the Frozen frenzy in our home even more was when lil’ Ms. GJG received a package from Eri R.O. What is it? OMG. Queen Elsa’s kaboggerang costume! It has been delivered to our apartment a few weeks ago but only last week that she got to see it and wore it as a sort of surprise for being brave during her sty operation.
Can you see happiness painted all over her face?
We’ve been on the lookout for an Elsa costume ever since we’ve watched Frozen. I’ve asked numerous times from friends who are in different parts of the world for an Elsa costume but to no avail, as it was always sold out. It was indeed a blessing in disguise when Erika, the chief and mompreneur behind Eri R.O. messaged me about her online business which focuses on children’s apparel.
Eri R.O. started when Erika quit her job and decide to be a full-time mom to her daughter. At the same time, she pursued her love for designing clothes for her family and friends. Eventually, this lead into a business and now she is slowly becoming popular all thanks to her clients which includes child celebrities who want to wear her designs.
Why Eri R.O?
One of my college friends used to call me E-RI-RO – a 3 syllable shortened name for Erika Rodas (ERI-ka RO-das). I got married to an Oviedo. It remained the same except that R and O became my initials. My logo is an envelope sealed with a red sequined heart. The envelope symbolizes personal touch and red sequin heart shows enthusiasm.
Erika does not like to be known as a costume maker. She believes that she can offer more than the usual in terms of the quality of her designs and how they are used. Thus, she developed Project Elsa.
Eri R.O’s Project Elsa are pieces of clothing that are used as an alternative for a whole set of an Elsa inspired gown. It’s practical and casual. I’ve designed a sheer maxi vest in (white and blue), slit skirt, tulle skirt, and a sequined off-shoulder top. These pieces of clothing can be used together, separately, or with casual clothes.
These Project Elsa pieces can be worn individually to create a different look and be incorporated in your child’s casual style and at the same time, it can be worn altogether. But since lil’ Ms. GJG really wanted an Elsa gown, Erika decided to make one for her.
Isn’t it obvious that she loves her Elsa gown? Even the way she posed has Elsa written all over!
The intricacy of the details so how much effort was put in it. The quality of the gown is superb too!
Thank you so much Erika for making an Elsa gown for my Lil Ms. GJG. You can order yours by emailing Erika at [email protected]
