Despite our hair being our crowning glory, I am one of the many women who find styling them every day tedious and well, time consuming. So for someone like me who wears her hair long, I barely give much importance to how it looks. So much so that Mr. GJG would always comment that I should just tie my hair up because he finds it chaotically frizzy.
If you like your hair then you should’ve put a serum on it. Yes, Beyonce level? Why not! My husband and any other person who touches my hair (hair stylists) have been telling me this for the longest time. I wasn’t open to the idea of using hair serums because I assume they’re oily, leaving my hair greasy. This assumption of mine soon changed after trying Vitress firsthand.
Recently, Vitress introduced its newest brand ambassadors who joined the rank of Solenn Heusaff. Meet Gretchen Ho and Kim Jones.
Gretchen’s Hair Tips: “With my active and on-the-go lifestyle, it’s very important to have a quick solution. On normal days, I apply the Vitress Sun Protect Hair Polish to protect my hair. When I have a game, I use the Vitress Heat Protect Cuticle Coat to keep my baby hair in place with my ponytail. For shoots, the Vitress Heat Protect Cuticle Coat keeps my hair shiny and healthy, too.”
Kim Jones, trendsetting TV personality.
Kim’s Hair Tips: “Honestly, I prefer a low-key regime when it comes to my hair. After I wash my hair, I just warm a few drops of Vitress Hair Repair Cuticle Coat in between my hands. It’s easy enough for me to do and it’s effective. It’s my secret weapon to keeping my hair sleek and in place. The bottles are the perfect size to throw in your handbag, too.”
Solenn’s Hair Tips: “I use the Vitress Solenn Cuticle Coat, which I co-designed every day. After I shower and while my hair is damp, I put a small amount to make it easier to comb. Once my hair is dry, I add a few more drops to boost shine. I also apply it when my hair’s in a ponytail to hide the baby hair that sticks out.”
Judging by how beautiful the hair of these IT girls are, it kinda made me even more convinced to try Vitress.
Vitress Sun Protect Hair Polish, Vitress Strengthening Hair Polish and Vitress Long-Lasting Fragrance Hair Polish, 50 ml for Php35 and 100 ml for PHp 56
If you’re always under the sun, use Vitress Sun Protect Hair Polish. It’s a cream that’s spiked with a unique Sun-Defense System to shield your strands from the hair-damaging UV rays. While the light cream of Vitress Strengthening Hair Polish uses Vita Strength Formula to help prevent split ends and breakage for strong, shiny hair. Lastly, thanks to its Scent-Infinity Complex, Vitress Long-Lasting Fragrance Hair Polish is a non-greasy cream that keeps your hair smelling fresh, fragrant, and looking shiny throughout the day.
Vitress Hair Polish has a cream consistency similar to a hair conditioner, the fruity and sweet smell makes it addicting to lather and apply on your hair. It glides smoothly on hair but doesn’t leave it slimy and sticky. If its anything, it makes the hair softer and “fresh” thanks to its nectarous scent.
Vitress Hair Repair Cuticle Coat, Vitress Heat Protect Cuticle Coat and Vitress Instant Relax Cuticle Coat, 20 ml Php 49 and 30 ml Php 75.
If you’ve been abusing your strands with constant coloring or chemical treatments like perms or rebonding, you must use Vitress Hair Repair Cuticle Coat. It uses a Hydro-Restore System to reverse the damage. For those who like styling their hair, apply Vitress Heat Protect Cuticle Coat. This protective hair oil uses a unique Thermo-Shield Complex to shield your hair from the harmful effects of frequent blow-drying, ironing, curling. This way, you can wear the style you want without worrying about the damage. Lastly, if you can’t tame stubborn curls or wavy hair, lather on Vitress Instant Relax Cuticle Coat. This hair oil uses Vita-Relax Technology to help flatten unruly, wavy hair for a naturally straighter look.
Upon learning the different types of Vitress Hair Polish and Cuticle Coat, I made a quick decision to try one that would address the current situation of my hair. So I used Vitress Instant Relax Cuticle Coat.
Here’s my damp, frizzy hair before applying Vitress Instant Relax Cuticle Coat.
My hair is still damp after two hours of putting it up, as I immediately did after I took a shower. I guess moms can relate to me- how our hair always ends up being neglected especially if we’re in a hurry to go out or prioritize other important things. This I am so much guilty of. I figured I have long hair, so I can easily get away tying it.
Here’s my hair a few seconds after applying Vitress Instant Relax Cuticle Coat. Bye frizzy and clumpy hair! Hello soft and shiny hair! I love the immediate effect of Vitress on my hair. All it took was two pumps (about a size of a one peso coin) of Vitress Instant Relax Cuticle Coat and my hair had more flair, I don’t mind flaunting it even if I just finger combed it. Imagine more if I brushed and dried my hair nicely and applied Vitress, baka maging ka-level ko na the Vitress ambassadors Solenn, Gretchen and Kim! Naaaaaks.
Pretty impressive no? I was surprised to know that Vitress works well as a frizz-tamer. I was really anticipating it would make me feel uncomfortable, as I anticipated it to feel hot and heavy on my strands. Clearly, these are nothing more that hair myths which are assumptions made by people, like me, who haven’t really gave a chance at experiencing using them. Had I used such hair products like Vitress hair polish and hair serum, I would’ve saved my hair from the trouble of being “naked” to harmful factors that made it frizzy in the first place.
Looks like I won’t be wearing my hair up most of the time from now on. Frizz? What frizz?! I’m even more excited to use Vitress Heat Protect Cuticle Coat the next time I style my hair. Follow me on Instagram @gojackiego as I post my tame mane courtesy of Vitress! Time to take more #hairfies with my sexy-soft hair. 😉
