When I think of eyeliners, I am reminded of Cleopatra and the goddesses who reigned ancient Egypt 5,000 years ago. Did you know their heavy eye make up wasn’t just for looks? According to research, back then lead salts found in make up has helped protect against eye disease–you can read the full story published by the Telegraph HERE. What an interesting discovery.
Speaking of eye make that’s gentle & safe, have you ladies tried Eye of Horus?
Eye of Horus Goddess Pencils are unique, highly pigmented eyeliners inspired by Ancient Egyptian formulas. It is enriched with beautiful Botanical Waxes and Oils and boasts a natural and cruelty-free formula which helps to nourish the delicate eye lid.
Perfect for creating flawless definition, sultry smoky looks and eye popping colour, Goddess Pencil can be blended and shaded onto the entire eyelid or applied delicately along the waterline. Literally gliding smoothly onto the eyelid without pulling or dragging, Goddess Pencil is truly waterproof once set and comes complete with a smudging tip to create the ultimate in smouldering looks.
Selena White, Sahara Nude and Nubian Brown
One streak gives you a natural looking line. I love (yes, love talaga) how it glides smoothly and effortlessly. So much so that I don’t need to stretch my eye (a bad habit) to apply. I like that it’s waterproof yet it’s nice to blend for that full eye make up look.
Selena White and Sahara Nude help enhance the eye, making it more brighter giving that awaken look. But since I already have almond eyes, I feel like I don’t need to emphasize it much. So I just used Nubian Brown to give me that natural look. But I’ll try to use them next time and do another #FOTD wearing them.
Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil in Nubian Brown is currently my favorite eye liner. I’m so used to wearing black eyeliner that I was surprised to find brown looking so natural on me, as if I wasn’t wearing any liner at all. If you want your eyes to pop (not literally guys ha) but don’t want a black eye liner to overpower your look, go for Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil in Nubian Brown.
