Air pollution has been an issue as long as I can remember and as the years go by it just gets worse. Living right smack in the middle of a bustling city, often my kids & I suffer from allergic rhinitis. Whenever we go to our pedia complaining of the frequent allergic rhinitis attacks, there are only two things he recommend we do:
Live far away from the city where there’s fresh air.
Purify the air in your home.
As much as I want to live in the suburbs, it’s not the most feasible plan since my work and my kids schools are here in the city. So we’re sticking to his second recommendation–purify the air in our home. He actually recommend we get a Dyson Pure Cool Link which we always see in his clinic.
We finally got one! And after a few weeks of having it in our home, I’ve rounded up 10 reasons why I love Dyson Pure Cool Link and why you too should get one!
1. IT IS A 2-in-1 PRODUCT
It’s a purifier and cools. What’s amazing about it? It has an ability to capture particles down to 0.1 microns (particles not visible to the naked eye, thus purifying the air around you) and also circulates the air to keep you cool. It works as a fan and a purifier so you don’t clutter your home for this neat looking machine does the work of both.
2. IT CAN CAPTURE ODORS & SMALL HARMFUL PARTICLES
Like I said, it’s a fan and a purifier in one. The HEPA material of its specialised filter captures small harmful particles. It also has activated carbon layer that capture smells. Great whether you have a pet or you like to cook.
3. IT CONNECTS WITH A DYSON LINK APP
Connect your Dyson Pure Cool Link machine to Dyson Link app through WiFi and you can do a lot of things with it!
4. YOU CAN USE YOUR MOBILE PHONE AS REMOTE
Even if you’re not at home, as long as your Dyson Pure Cool Link is plugged you can turn it on. Yep. That means you can clean and purify your home even if you’re on the other side of the world. AHHHHMAAAZING!
Check out the sleek interface of the remote on the Dyson Link app! Available for download free for iOs or Android guuuuys!
You can turn it on or off, control fan, timer or sleep!
5. IT ALSO COMES WITH A SLEEK REMOTE
That sleek Dyson remote is magnetic letting you prop it right on top of your Dyson Pure Cool Link fan! Don’t you just hate looking for remotes? With this Dyson Pure Cool Link remote you don’t need to worry about losing it!
Yes I named our Dyson Pure Cool Link Mister Clean. Heeheehee.
6. CHECK THE AIR QUALITY INSIDE AND OUTSIDE YOUR HOME
Through the Dyson Link app, you can check the air quality of your home. This was the initial assessment of Dyson Pure Cool Link of our living room the moment we opened it. It means it’s not purified yet (since it says FAIR). Imagine the living room is where my kids & I spend most of our time hanging out. So there’s still room for improvement when it comes to our home’s air quality and thankfully there’s Dyson Pure Cool Link to help us.
After a few hours, our living room air quality changed–from fair to good! Yay!
7. SCHEDULE THE TIME TO TURN ON/OFF THE UNIT
Since Dyson Pure Cool Link isn’t just a fan, it’s also an air purifier, the people behind Dyson thought about the convenience of cleaning your air even when you’re not home. You can schedule your Dyson Pure Cool Link to turn on at specific days and time of the day. This efficiently helps you manage the cleanliness of your air at home remotely. Whether you’re at the office or you’re on your way home. Let Dyson Pure Cool Link do the air purifying for you. So you just come home to clean air.
8. MONITOR HOW CLEAN THE AIR IS IN YOUR HOME
This is one of my favorite features of Dyson Pure Cool Link. It saves all your data usage so you can keep track of the quality of air in your home. Not only can you view your daily usage, you can also view it weekly. Aside from air quality, you can also check temperature, humidity range as well as the specifics–time and days used as well as filter usage.
9. FILTER FOR THE WIN
Dyson uses borosilicate fibres which are densely compacted and woven together–making it possible to trap the tiniest particles. The circular shape of the filter also gives 360º air intake to draw air from all angles that allows free positioning of the machine. The small footprint (the purifier’s compact base) is not bulky at all. Located at the bottom part of the machine, it only needs to be replaced once a year if it runs 12 hours a day but if it runs only 6 hours a day, you can replace it once every 2 years.
10. SLEEK & STRONG
Dyson Pure Cool Link adapts well to almost all parts of our house. I love that it’s sleek yet strong. It’s light that I can transfer it from one room to another. Whenever I cook, I would put it in the kitchen and while my kids are in school I would put it in their room so when they come back their air in their room is already purified. At night I turn on the automatic night-mode–when the machine continues to monitor and respond to air quality while you’re asleep, but only using the quietest settings. The LED display also dims so you won’t be disturbed! This is definiltey the fan of light sleepers & those who suffer from allergies!
Air pollution inside your home can be up to five times worse than the air outside because we seal our homes too much. Yep! This is a fact. And there are various allergens (mold, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, even scented candles, anti perspirant and household cleaners) that contribute to respiratory disease such as asthma.
I can’t get over how cool Dyson Pure Cool Link is! Now I want another one because it’s amazing! Slowly noticing we’re not having as much allergic rhinitis attack as we used to! So if you want to have a healthier home, add Dyson Pure Cool Link to your wishlist! I’ve added this along with the Dyson Blameless Blower! Which is another beauty that deserves a detailed review on it’s own!

Hi. Still using the Dyson Pure Link? Just wanted to ask if how long will the filter last before you replace it? And how much for the filter? Considering on buying one. Thanks.
