Dining out with a girl friend or having date nights with Mr. GJG has been a luxury for me. I think I’m used to eating fast, eating anything and not even eating at all. Haha. So when Tin aka Manila Fashion Observer & I got a chance to dine at Grace Park, I just had to somehow document it!
Clear photo of the menu, fail! Hahaha. But because I like how simple, compact, no-nonsense it looks that I’m still including it. Grace Park reminds me of the area in Caloocan which is near to where my family & I used to live, but this is much soshal (classy) heehee. True enough, the restaurant was named after the owner, Margarita Fores’ grandmother’s home which was well, in Grace Park, Caloocan City.
Grace Park is a farm-to-table restaurant that only uses fresh and organic produce. Immediately upon being seated, I felt an air of simplicity with a touch of nostalgia with their interiors. It’s like an old soul’s home transformed into a restaurant.
A rustic touch the table setting has.
After a few minutes of contemplating, here’s what we ordered.
3-page Salad, Organic Field Greens with Honey Dijon Dressing at 220 php.
It wasn’t anything unusual, except for the crispy thin nacho (is it?) that gave this salad character.
Fresh Lemonade at 140 php.
GP OMG Burger at 795 php
Grace Park OMG Burger was delicious. For a burger lover like me, I like how the egg & cheese blended well with the patty. But I must warn you that this dish is best to share with someone as it has a tendency to have a certain umay factor.Fettuccine, Truffle Cream, Organic Egg at 550 php.
Unlike any other truffle based pasta, the clincher was the egg. I never thought it would make a difference but apparently, it tastes better with it. Again, best to share this dish as the creaminess can make you feel fed-up after a few fork-full servings.
It was a good dinner and if given another free time, we’d dine again. Then after a few weeks, we did! We had an intimate lunch at Grace Park along with other bloggers. This time, we tried some different dishes.
Black Fettuccine With Scallops & Salmon Roe.
Definitely a must-try pasta dish!
Muscovado Beef Belly at 510 php.
Sugar + beef? Defintiely something I couldn’t resist. This dish is by far the most raved one from Grace Park. The beef belly was packed with flavour and is also tender. I would surely come back just for this.
Be prepared to shell out around 700 php, you get to share a starter, a main course and a pasta on the side. Conveniently, there is parking but is limited especially for peak hours such as lunch and dinner.
Grace Park is located at the ground level of One Rockwell, Rockwell Drive Poblacion, Makati City.
