Doodling. Drawing. Coloring. Painting. These are the usual daily activities my kids are very fond of. While they are so used to me offering them scratch papers (putting school circulars, press releases and old bills to good use, because recycle guys!) sometimes they ask for materials they can work on so they can unleash their inner creativity. So I’ve gathered some of our newest discovery which according to my kids are fun and cool to work on.
I try to let lil’ Mr. JG have at least 30 minutes of desk time a day. Now that he’s in big school, it’s more challenging for him to focus and sit for longer periods. So to make it fun for him at home, we bust out a few desk activities for him & his Achi to work on and enjoy.

Crayola Shimmer & Shine activity set available at Ogalala World.
Girls and glitter. Yep they go hand in hand. One of lil’ Ms. JG’s favorite show, Shimmer and Shine has a Crayola activity set. She enjoyed making the genies and their cute pets colourful. Best thing about this activity? It’s mess free! No actual glitters were harmed nor have caused any harm to anyone! 😉 Heehee.
Tiger Tribe activity sets available through Bright Brands PH
My kids are at this stage where they’re eager to learn how to draw. I even posted an Instagram story of lil’ Mr. JG’s artwork posted on his bed where he proudly displays his creations. So when they got these Tiger Tribe activity sets, they’ve been bringing it around with them. They doodle when in traffic or even when we’re out having lunch. Totally a good activity set to lug around especially if you want your kids to have timeout from using the screen.
