I’ve been hearing a lot about this new Filipino-Mexican restaurant all because people I follow on Twitter keep on tweeting photos of their dishes. So when the SoMoms planned to see each other for a lunch date to exchange gifts and catch up, Madeca was on top of our list.
Not much photos because once we start with chikahan, no one’s interested to snap some photos heehee.
Look they have Happy Hour!
Lil’ Ms. GJG enjoying her chips.
Berry & Gabbie 🙂
Iced Tea (40 php) in a cute glass with lid.
Mexikanin Salpicao at 275 php. Comes with chips, salsa and chili con carne. Aside from the chips lil’ Ms. GJG loved the rice & salpicao. She’s not fond of meat in general because she finds it a task to chew twice as much compared to veggies but I was surprised to see she was eating the bite-sized tender salpicao.
Sisig Burrito at 225 php. So when I learned that Madeca has sisig on their menu I didn’t think twice ordering it. Boy was I happy I did! It was so good it has now become one of my favorites! It has maintained its crunchiness despite it being wrapped around rice and tortilla wrap.
Thank you Audrey for our yummy Banana Fritters With Ice Cream dessert. It was delicious! I almost finished the entire plate and by almost I mean I only left the melting ice cream for the other moms heehee.
Will I go back? Definitely! I’m excited to try their Chili Con Burger (as I am a burger & chili kind of girl), Quesedillas and Soft Tacos. I’ll update this post once I’ve revisited. Good news is that they deliver via City Delivery. So if you’re not near Mandaluyong, there’s a way to satisfy your craving for Filipino-Mexican dish!
Congratulations Audrey & AJ on your new venture.
P.S.
I hope you can add those chili sticks stuffed with I don’t know, sisig or adobo (perhaps?) on your menu! heehee 🙂
