As I type this I am glued to my bed nursing a terrible flu. Is it just me or do you also feel the need to get away and be somewhere else–somewhere you feel most alive–when you’re sick and feeling weak AF (ha! spoken like a millennial).
I am daydreaming of paradise. How fortunate am I to live in a country that has 7,107 paradise? My family & I spent Holy Week this year on a beautiful island that is Coron in Palawan.
It’s our first time in Coron and let me tell you it is something everyone should visit. The pristine white sand, clear blue water and preserved wildlife married with luxurious service of Club Paradise is what you can expect. It’s really paradise. It was certainly the break we needed–to get away from it all and to reflect on our lives, our goals & focus on what matters, our family. You can read about my rambling HERE.
I don’t have much to say about our quick vacation so instead here’s a photo diary of what we experienced during our stay.
My kids were pampered with a welcome foot wash. Can you tell who enjoyed it most? 🙂
There’s an owl right outside our villa! I was able to take a photo of this half-awake cutie–partly my fault why he’s awake in the middle of the day. Thanks to the staff of Club Paradise for indulging me. I have this fascination with owls kasi coz prior to having kids, I was nocturnal.
You know it’s a good vacation when most of the time all you do is lounge, get a tan, eat, swim, sleep.
I like taking photos with this little lady. You can check out our almost twining swimsuit outfit HERE.
My happy place will always be the beach. Something about the sun, sand and sea that makes me feel alive.
Recharged. Renewed. Revived.
I don’t have a lot of photos of my little guy during our vacation coz he’s super busy playing on the sand, swimming on the sea or pool, and doing it again and again!
Eto yung shot na hindi ako na-inform na thumbs up pala yung pose! Hahahay!
Twinning with my favorite girl in the world!
Sunset shot with the loves of my life.
My 7 year old daughter took this shot. Kinda training her to take my photos! 😀
You’d think we’re the only people on the island but to tell you the truth, the resort was fully booked! I love how despite maxing their occupancy, the resort is big enough not to feel crowded. This is a big deal for an introvert like me because I’m not much a fan of crowds.
Here’s to making more memories with these guys!
It was a break well spent. Planning to explore more of the Philippines to experience our country’s paradise. Got any recommendations? Where should we go next? 🙂
[…] Wide during our last beach trip so we can capture moments and take tons of photos! Check out my Coron, Palawan post where all photos were taken with my Fujifilm […]
