Mysophobia or bacteriophobia is the irrational fear of contamination, dirt and germs. Did you know that an average person touches his/her face 2,000-3,000 times a day? With this frequency, can you imagine how many different kinds of dirt, germs and bacteria one unintentionally puts to his/her face? Kalurks.
I never consider myself as a bacteriophobia, but I am very cautious not to be a carrier of whatever unwanted bacteria that’s surrounding me. So you can just call me an antimicrobial kinda mom. Even before I had my own family, I always carry a pocket sized anti-bacterial sanitizer or alcohol with me. It has become a thing of mine. So much so that I think I’ve tried and tested almost all the anti-bacterial products available here. Let me tell you, after years of using different brands, I’m glad to say I have a few favourites, one of which is Hygienix. Ever since I learned about the existence of Hygienix from a friend of mine, I never forget to stock up on it.
Hygienix is clinically proven to kill 99.99% of germs. Unlike other anti-bacterial hand care, I love it because it doesn’t smell like alcohol at all. I’ve fooled a lot of people whenever I spray on some Hygienix as they think I’m so vain refreshing myself with an expensive perfume every chance I get, not knowing (although most of my friends already know my secret 😀 ) its actually an anti-bacterial hand spray.
Here’s my basic make up kit that’s always inside my bag. Look at my cute and equally essential Hygienix hand spray (which sometimes doubles as my perfume) it’s the same size as my lipstick. I love that it comes in a 20ml hand spray that discreetly fits in a small bag or pouch.
And because I’m a self-confessed antimicrobial mom, I’m so OC fulfilling that title that most parts of our humble abode have a hand spray. Here’s a 55 ml Hygienix hand spray at my kids’ bathroom. They too are accustomed to spray some on their hands to prevent spreading germs.
My hands are all dry and wrinkled no thanks to all the mopping, chopping, washing, cooking, cleaning et al. So I’m very relieved that Hygienix’s ethyl alcohol doesn’t contribute to that, rather it actually helps soothe skin because of its non-drying formula. I also like that it’s mildly scented compared to other ethyl alcohols, plus it doesn’t feel sticky so I apply it as often as I want and need.
I think my lil’ Ms. GJG follows after me. She even labeled her very own Hygienix hand sanitizer. Somebody’s becoming antimicrobial like mommy! This is what’s inside her school bag as well as what she puts inside her “going out” aka a day for shopping bag. So happy that at an early age she’s very much aware of cleanliness and practices good hygiene. 🙂
With all the diseases circulating around, we need every bit of protection we can for ourselves and for our families. I wouldn’t compromise my family’s health so I’m really armed and prepared. All it takes is a 20ml Hygienix anti-bacterial spray which can protect you & your family from such disease-causing bacteria.
Hygienix is available in most major outlets of SM Department Store & Supermarket, Robinsons Department Store & Supermarket, Mercury Drug Store, Purgold Supermarket, The Landmark, Metro Gaisano, Shopwise, 7 Eleven and The Landmark.
