Clickplay.PH: Enjoy Movies Anytime, Anywhere + Giveaway

I love watching movies. I am one who would really see a good movie the week of its release and would always feel left out whenever I miss out on them. Like reading books, watching movies can really transport you to another dimension or another time, which I am such a sucker for. Thinking about how much technology has changed the way we watch our favorite movies- Betamax, VHS, Laser Disc, VCD, DVD and now you can watch online with Clickplay.PH

Clickplay.PH is the country’s first movie-on-demand service provider in the Philippines. It gives members the ability to enjoy movies when, how and where they want it instantly and seamlessly. I was able to learn more about Clickplay during the intimate lunch they hosted at Linden Suites last month.

First and foremost, you have to register to be a subscriber. Registration is free. Once you’ve registered, you can now browse for the movies you want to watch.

Currently, Clickplay offers hundreds of movies from Warner Brothers and Sony Pictures ranging from comedy, drama, sci-fi, action, horror, animation, romance, etc. More content from international and local studios are slated for release soon.

HOW DOES CLICKPLAY WORK?

Clickplay allows users to rent a movie. From the moment you start watching, you can still play it for an unlimited number of times within 48 hours. Plus, you can register up to 3 of your devices per movie, where you can watch your content.

It’s a streaming model where you can rent to watch online as long as there’s an internet connection. The movies are not downloadable to your device as of present but they’re working on that option hopefully in the next six months.

There’s online bookmarking. A movie you rented will be available to your library within 30 days from the time you purchased it.

Blockbuster movies will be released as soon as three months after it’s premier.

Access Clickplay via any browser. Download FREE android application in Google Play Store and Samsung Apps Store and iOS app is scheduled for release next month. With this you can use any device that is capable of video streaming via web browser (or app) and has Internet connection- android phones, android tablets, iPad, iPhone and on a Samsung Smart TV too!

Clickplay offers an adaptive streaming technology. The buffering and loading of the movie will base on your bandwidth and speed.

RATES & PAYMENT

Subscribers can rent a movie for only 60 php and 100 php for blockbuster movies (newly released)

If you’re a PLDT subscriber, you can charge it on top of your monthly bill and whether you’re a Smart Postpaid, Smart Preparid, Smart Bro or Talk & Text user, you can pay your movies via your Smartload. You can also pay through Paypal for credit card users.

If you’re a PLDT Fibr subscriber, you are entitled for a number of complimentary movies from Clickplay monthly.

I am super excited to watch movies through Clickplay.PH since I am currently yayaless/maidless again. The convenience of watching your favorite movies at the comfort of your own home, not to mention the money you get to save (400 php for two tickets- you can rent 6 movies na!).
