Looky what arrived yesterday.
Plueys was created by a young lady who was tired of squelching around in wet, ruined shoes. She set out to create a line of functional rubber boots that also bucked convention, with eye-catching colors and unique graphic prints. Plueys designs are fun and whimsical – you’ll see cranes, which symbolize hope, and goldfish, which are happily in their element on a rainy day!
The name Plueys is a playful take on the French ‘pluie’ for ‘rain’, because these are the humble rubber boots of our childhood reinvented with brave, bright and fun designs which recall the simple joys in life – like playing in the rain.

So here’s the design that I ordered:
Although I think I should’ve gotten size 39 instead. The fit was just right. I know I’m a standard UK 5 or size 38 but it really depends, sometimes I’m a size 37 (especially on sandals) but there are times my feet are more comfortable with a size 39.
I like how cute the tennis rackets are.
The colors turquoise and green can perk up any gloomy rainy day, don’t you agree?
Rain boots are perfect for our rainy season here in the Philippines. Although I am not excited to wear them today, but it’s just perfect no thanks to typhoon Pedring. Will do a separate outfitey post for that, for now to those who got affected by typhoon Pedring, I’m praying for your safety.
Check out Plueys official website and Ready for Rain for Plueys availability here in the Philippines.
That’s all.
Stay safe everyone! It’s almost the midweek! Yay!
