This week we juggled different summer activities for the kids. There’s Global Art. swimming, and basketball. I addition to these my kids also did The Learning Library. More about this on the post but since this momma is tired from all the summer activities (parang ako young nag art class, nag swimming, basketball and reading class e no? haha) I took some me time while the kids are at Ahma’s for some downtime.
To keep my mind off work & a break from being a driver/yaya mama, I did a bit of me time and went to Marie France to try their EDM (Endermologie+) treatment. It uses thermo magnetic pulse that helps rid of stubborn fat. Its advanced LipoMassage™ slimming technology permanently eliminates resistant fat, smoothens out cellulite, and firms up the skin.
I’ve developed cellulites & fats in areas I never once had any problems with. And I know no amount of workout & eating clean/healthy can rid of stubborn fats & cellulites. I’ve learned that it’s okay to seek help sometimes especially if this is going to make you feel better about yourselves. So I am all for non-invasive treatments from Marie France. If you follow me on Instagram you know I go to Facial Care & Marie France regularly.
Anyhow, enough about me let’s talk more about my kids. Heehee. One of the activities my kids did this summer was The Learning Library. It’s an enrichment program dedicated for Reading, Writing and Filipino. Though my kids like reading, they say attending The Learning Library made it more fun to read.
THE LEARNING LIBRARY aims to develop the love of reading and appreciation of the Filipino language among children. Their leveled programs — THE READING ADVANTAGE and WIKA’Y GALING! — for ages 3-16 aim to improve critical reading comprehension and language skills. Both are anchored on literature — stories make learning more enjoyable!
Enrollees in the monthly program come once or twice a week for teaching sessions, and get daily worksheets for practice at home. They also get to borrow books from a library of over 4,000 children’s favorites. Each of their 10 branches (in Quezon City, Makati, San Juan, Alabang and Sta Rosa Laguna) boast of experienced and passionate teachers who want to help children be the best learners they can be.
When you come in, immediately your child gets assessed based on your chosen program. I wanted my kids to do Filipino as well but since they have other activities during summer, they only got to do Reading.
And because sharing is caring here’s a quick giveaway where one follower/reader can win a gift certificate of one-month program from The Learning Library. Easy peasy mechanics below.
