Last Saturday I was one of the fifteen bloggers who were invited to experience the Casmara treatment which is exclusively available at DIANA STALDER by Dermaline.

The basic facial treatment was done before using the Casmara products. Cleaning of the face and opening the pores through steaming are always a good start in preparing your skin before applying any kind of products. For my Casmara treatment, my therapist recommended I try the Absolute RT4 Retinal Treatment (Wrinkle prevention).

I think the treatment was actually perfect for my dry skin. As we all know, dry skin is more prone to wrinkles and fine lines thus moisturizing is a must. RT4 Retinal Treatment is packed with vitamins A, C and E which all help in moisturizing the skin.

I admit, back when I was younger I never seem to put much effort on skin care. Aside from the fact that I have great skin (read: soft, pimple-free skin even if I was too lazy to remove my make up after work, I know its bad). But now that I’m in my mid 20’s I think it’s about time I take good care of my skin. Plus, giving birth (and the plan of having another child) only means more chances of hormonal imbalance which leads to you’ll never-know-if-your-skin-will-ever-be-the-same-again situations. I dread that I just said that but yup, that’s reality.

And because I haven’t had the chance to have my face “cleaned” for the past three months, I obliged to the pricking of my pimples and blackheads. Yes I have them and yes I blame my hormones not my chocolates (which is the least cause of pimples FYI).

The mask smelled so good. I wasn’t sure if it smelled fruity or sweet or probably both. I know I’m one of the few people who get a wee bit paranoid (ever since I gave birth) having to close my eyes and mouth and feel I’m unable to breathe properly but in this case, I actually didn’t mind the thick cold mask on my face. I actually enjoyed wearing it and I felt the relaxation the word “spa” emulates. This is, for me the highlight of the treatment wherein I really felt “spa-mpered”.

Sofie of sofiesalvador.wordpress.com who happens to be my college friend tried the Shinestop Treatment which includes this cool black mask.

Overall I find the Casmara treatment revitalizing. You may not feel the difference in one session alone but in my case, knowing my skin it felt as if I (or rather my skin) was young and back to my pre-pregnancy state/condition. Like my skin literally absorbed all the vitamins it needs to become more softer and smoother. The Casmara treatment jumpstarted my” sleeping” skin, now it actually feels more “alive”.
