A bit of a throwback Thursday for this OOTD was the one Kelly & I used for our Bloggers United 8 poster. My fondness for black and white is still persistent as ever. I guess it’s the red hair that makes me love the absence and presence of colors.
No fuss, easy dressing for me! I think I’ve finally found my “typical” causal look. Nice fitting jeans, tank top, a chic outerwear and lovely pair of shoes to determine what certain look I’m trying to emulate.
The thing about us girls is we have sooooo many clothes in our closet but every time we need to get ready fast, we tend to instantaneously pick something that we’re comfortable wearing. So much so that once we’re out and about we get really stressed that we’re not “polished” or nice looking enough. I always have this feeling. I kinda realize, its time I build my wardrobe based on what I’m most comfortable and this look is my peg for it. I’m investing more on outerwear (cover up, jackets, blazers, cardigans) that I can put over my plain tank tops and shirts. I am also investing on shoes that I can wear over and over again and still look chic and ready. I’m going for the basic pairs such as pumps, sandals and heels in neutral and easy to pair colors. I’d rather have a few, quality pieces that I can mix and match, pair and partner on different occasions than a lot but only get to wear once or twice.
Still keeping my red head. Since Marsala is the Pantone color of the year. Hihihi. My red head’s close enough.
Obsessed with this structured cape that’s locally made.
A strappy pair always makes your feet look sexy. Sometimes, a good pair of shoes is all you need to make your OOTD come together.
Here’s Kelly’s black and white outfit. When we did this shoot, we really didn’t coordinate on what we’ll wear, Chamba Romero (it just so happen) lang.
