Butterflies In My Tummy

Ever get that feeling like there’s butterflies in your tummy fluttering, giving you that uneasy feeling of anticipation or perhaps excitement?

I always get that feeling whenever there’s a milestone that involves my children, when I anticipate a long-awaited vacation/trip or when there’s a good deal that I was able to get. Whatever  way I feel butterflies in my tummy, today’s OOTD was inspired by that feeling – literally and figuratively.

Since I purged and edited my closet a few weeks back – all thanks to Marie Kondo – I’ve managed to figure out what my style is really about. Mostly feminine with a hint of tomboy every now and then but yeah, mostly feminine. If you ask me, it’s pretty easy to dress up and be girly girly. I like mixing basics with few pieces that would make it more me.

This outfit is so me. Basic tank top and bottom accentuated with a blazer or cardigan paired with either a classic or quirky pair of shoes.

Most of the clothes I’ve kept are either white or black (I’m still working on injecting more colors to my wardrobe). So binawi ko na lang sa accessories. Sakto lang ‘coz this swing blazer is in black but has a few colors to it. Keri.

You probably notice by now how much I love this asymmetric skorts. The first one I got at Romwe, this one I scored on eBay. Swerte lang that I was able to get my hands on this ‘coz this was sold out agad in stores.

I could live in this skorts. I need more!

I am sorta addicted to small bags lately. I find it’s easy to swing across my shoulder and go. Perfect lang especially when I’m with my kids.

One of the comfiest pumps I have. It’s become my go-to pair whenever I need to wear heels.
