It’s been a while since I last posted about food. I’ve been caught up with work and taking care of my kids that so many posts are waiting to be published (most are from last year hahahuhu) but I’m working on it so please be patient with me.
Anyway, did I tell you I like to eat? Yes! That’s why there’s a category in this blog dedicated to food. While I may not be a foodie–I still have tens or maybe hundreds of restaurants & cafes to try–I do like to feature some food discoveries I truly like.
Breakfast at home is usually simple and easy which is why I like have breakfast, brunch or lunch at restaurants that serve good food that reminds me of home. And one of which is Early Bird Breakfast Club.
All smiles because food is life!
Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup Php 325
Comforting and filling. I think Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup has become one of my favorite dishes. And Early Bird’s is something I would go back for.
Yin Yang Champorado, Php 275
I can’t remember the last time I cooked Champorado at home. It can be tedious to prepare and unfortunately my family doesn’t have the same enthusiasm as I am when it comes to this chocolate porridge. Thankfully I need not to slave in the kitchen to get my champorado fix coz Yun Yang is one of the best I’ve tried. The right mix of cocoa and milk, sweet and salty. YUM!
Early Bird Pancake, Php 245 and Bacon Chicharron, Php 195
Fluffy pancake ordered by Gabbie. It was good according t her. While she enjoyed her pancake, Mr. JG & I helped ourselves with Bacon Chicharon. NOMS.
Arroz Caldo, Php 225
Another dish we enjoyed was the Arroz Caldo. That familiar and comforting flavors remind me so much of my childhood. How my Lola would prepare us this dish on rainy days.
Maybe next time I’ll try their other dishes for lunch or dinner. What’s your favorite from Early Bird Breakfast Club?
