That’s a lot of B’s for a title don’t you think? *heehee* Anyway, few days ago I had the chance to do a beauty brunch with my fellow #ButterGirls at Beauty and Butter in Megamall.
Let the pampering begin!
Since I’m pregnant I tried Beauty & Butter‘s organic line Sparituals, remember I had my gel nails made here as well?
Pardon my ma-ugat (veiny) feet.
Choosing a nail polish color has got to be the toughest decision I make whenever I have my nails done. It took me at least 30 minutes flipping over these swatches and it didn’t help that I was pregnant (hormonal) and that there’s tons of colors to choose from.
Meet my Buttercup Aisa, I love how she’s gentle yet she meticulously worked her way into pampering my hands and feet. Did I mention she knows a few beauty trivia too?
I wasn’t able to take a picture of the part where my legs were being scrubbed mainly because I felt pure bliss while undergoing the service. Unlike the normal scrubs, Sparitual’s is so fine that when applied on my skin it actually feels great. Since I’m waxing/shaving my legs, it easily gets irritated during scrubbing but surprisingly with Sparitual scrub I didn’t feel any sting instead I felt the scrub melting as if it was slowly being absorbed by my skin. Definitely the best scrub I’ve tried so far.
Now my legs are wrapped like meat being prepped for cooking. This is for the lotion to work it’s way on my skin, to lock in and seal in the moisture for a more supple and smooth skin.
After again a few minutes of choosing, it finally boiled down to three nail polish colors and because it’s summer. I choose the most summery color out of the three.
I picked “Eye of The Beholder” that’s very much apple green. Don’t you love it? And because I’ve been wanting to sport matte nails, my Buttercup Aisa, transformed this glossy shade into matte with Orly’s Matte top coat. Spot the difference: left hand nails are matte, right hand nails are glossy. More nail polish pictures on a separate post.
Here’s my seat mate Donnarace blue green nails together with my apple green shade, Sarah who is also our seat mate sported mint green nails as, thus we were the green girls! LOL Sorry no photo of the food as I was very busy making chika and at the same time indulging and munching on the yummy treats care of The French Baker.
Finally good to see again my co-Nivea Fun, Fearless and Fair Girl and now fellow Butter Girl Lissa of Scene Stealer.
With my seat mates and fellow Butter Girls Sarah of Ms. Eggplant’s Chronicles and Donna of My Lucid Intervals.
The Butter Girls Sarah, Donna, Pax of Drowning Equilibriums, and Cheyser of THE WALKING RECESSIONISTA.
Sarah, Donna, Tracy Ayson, Pax, Cheyser, Kwey (Head of Marketing for Beauty & Butter) and I.
I together with my seat mates Sarah and Donna won in the raffle. Woot! I got these Priori Mineral goodies which I’m excited to try. Anything natural and organic lately has been my thing so this is just perfect!
I’m officially a Butter Girl!
