I’ve got a new squeeze–literally.
Bobbi Brown recently launched their Art Stick Liquid Lip. Following the steps of the iconic Art Stick, the art supply-inspired–it does kinda remind me of paint in tubes–product gives a modern take on liquid lipstick.
Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip retails for Php 1,400 per tube.
Top & bottom: Vintage Pink and Plum Noir
It’s creamy and super-pigmented with a semi-matte finish. This squeezable color stick offers full coverage yet has a moisturizing formula that’s long-wearing.
At first I was intimidated to use it & wondered if I needed to use a lip brush to apply it. But eventually I got the hang of it. The trick is to squeeze it prior to pressing it on your lips so that you can control how much comes out. Start with the bottom lip then blot lips together and apply on top lip. Fill any gaps as needed for that flawless application.
Here’s how the Vintage Pink looks on me. It has been my go-to lippie ever since I received it.
I think pink lips always gives that blooming effect. So if you want to instantly get that fresh look like it’s a good day, swipe a pink lippie!
Here’s Plum Noir on me.
I still need practice applying the darker shade of Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip. Mas obvious kasi if hindi mayos and pantay the way you apply it! Hahaha. True to its claim, for a semi-matte finish it offers full-coverage and is non-drying on the lips. Also it lasts for hours (last time I checked it didn’t slip off for 6 good hours)
Side note: I am breaking out 🙁 Been stressed over summer because I have so many things to do and had a few travels in between taking care of my kids. Thankfully, we found good help now so now I’m less stressed. Hopefully my skin clears soon. For now, dinadaan ko na lang sa lipstick! Hahaha.
Bobby Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip comes in 16 nude, bright and bold shades and is available at all Bobbi Brown Cosmetics stores and counters.
