I can’t believe it’s been more than a year since I first stayed at Ascott Makati. I can still vividly recall the pleasurable experience my family & I had during our stay. Two weeks ago, we were once again invited to stay this time offering their newly renovated luxury suite.

Luxury living that is Ascott Makati. If I were to have our apartment renovated, it would look something like this.
Spacious living and dining area with fully-equipped kitchen is what makes the two-bedroom suite of Ascott Makati.
Each suite is fully-equipped with home entertainment system and wireless international connection.
Modern pieces make up each suite–designed exclusively to cater to discerning guests & their families.
My family & I felt at home the moment we settled in our luxury suite.
My kids even got a special treat from Ascott Makati– blankies of their favorite characters were spread on their bed.

No renovation is complete without a bathroom makeover. To complement the modern interior of the luxury suite, black tiles were used to accentuate the bathroom and the bathtub now has a glass door.
Each room has a closet big enough to be a reading nook.
I’ve always wanted an open kitchen. I think it makes the entire suite more spacious looking and more homey.

While my kids were chillin’ I was catching up with some work. I wonder, why is it that I always get to relax and at the same time effective be productive when I’m elsewhere? 
Just before dinner, we headed down to revisit Cubbies Kids Club
Like the new suites, the Cubbies Kids Club also had a makeover. 
It’s open for young guests daily from 6 AM to 10 PM.
While the kids were busy playing, Mr. JG & I checked out the Executive Lounge which was conveniently located right beside the Cubbie Kids Club.
Guests staying in a two-bedroom suite are entitled to use the Executive Lounge. For guests staying in different suites, an additional fee is required.
Enjoy cocktail, coffee or tea while watching TV or using the iMac at the Executive Lounge. Cocktail time is from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM where they’ll be serving finger food, desserts and drinks but the lounge is open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM.
Helped myself with a glass of vodka and some cold cuts & cheese.
The Executive Lounge also has access to the pool area.
Since we wanted to enjoy our suite, we decided to order room service for dinner instead of heading to Glorietta mall which sits right beside Ascott Makati.

We turned in early so we can wake up early for buffet breakfast. Cafe on the 6th still has its old interiors. According to management, they’ll soon be moving their cafe on the other side of the floor. 
We walked inside Cafe on the 6th and was surprised with what was waiting on our table–a little treat from Ascott Makati for my kids.

The breakfast buffet menu is still the same. I always go for Ascott’s yummy pork bacon, french toast, & congee.
Shortly after breakfast we hurried to the pool for an hour of swimming.
The pool area is also being renovated. I like how the pool’s water is bluer yet still clear. There will also be a pool bar right in front of the pool and will be called Que.
The new restaurant of Ascott Makati is on the works and will be managed by Myron’s . How exciting!!! Hopefully I’ll be back to try their newest offering.

Located also on the 6th floor is Regus, where office spaces and meeting rooms are for lease.
After checking out the amenities of Ascott Makati, I also toured the studio suite which also converts to a one-bedroom.
The studio suite has sliding doors that lets guest experience a bit of privacy. 
Right across the bed is the living room and behind it is the open kitchen. 
There’s also a dinning area for two just right beside the living room.
Overall, Ascott Makati’s newly renovated suites have indeed made our staycation more luxurious than before. Experiencing their new suite was sweet but what made it even more pleasurable was the hospitality and friendliness of the staff which remained the same. Thanks Ascott Makati for making our stay great!
