A Visit At Beauty Lab Whitening By Suaviss

To be honest I am not a fan of whitening simply because I love getting a tan. But I learned that some if not most whitening products and services offer more than literally making your skin lighter and whiter. Some help stimulate collagen to improve skin conditions such as Beauty Lab Whitening by Suaviss.

I visited their clinic to try their famous R-630 machine which I’ll talk more about on this post.

This is the area inside the room where I had my facial and body cleanse/scrub. The treatment would require one to strip down naked–there’s disposable underwear naman–because the therapist would really cleanse & scrub your entire body. Yeeees mga bes. At first I was hesitant but then after giving birth to two kids–a handful of people have practically seen me naked (shootout to my doctors, nurses and my waxing lady Christina)–I’m not that reluctant anymore. But for those who aren’t used to being handled by a lady stranger, you might find the service a bit awkward at first but you know what they say “tiis-ganda na lang mga mars!” Heehee.

So here’s the step by step procedure for the full body whitening and anti-ageing treatment. 🙂

Meet the R-630 machine. It’s a revolutionary collagen machine that gives a long-lasting skin whitening effect in just five sessions. It uses a technique called Red Light Collagen therapy, the R-630 represents a safe, non-invasive, and effective way to naturally encourage collagen production in the body. This was me moments before going inside R-630 machine and minutes after cleaning, exfoliating and pre-conditioning. Lotions applied before and after the therapy lock in nutrients from the treatment and give the skin a vibrant glow that is 100% natural.

Here’s a look inside the R-630 machine. Literally red light! You can opt to wear googles to protect your eyes though it’s safe naman din even when it’s opened. Nakapag-photo op pa nga ako guuuuys hahaha. There’s a speaker where you can connect your phone so you won’t get bored during the 15-minute you’re inside. There’s a chair provided but I stood up once in a while because I was fidgety like that. There was a hint of warmth when you’re inside but it wasn’t hot naman. My eyes had a hard time adjusting to colors but it did naman after a while. I finished off the treatment by applying post-conditioning creams all over my body to ‘seal the deal’. I honestly didn’t notice any difference right away except that I felt my skin more supple like I enjoyed a luxurious creamy bubble bath! 😀

But what surprised me the most was the immediate glow the treatment gave my skin. I noticed it days after looking at my photos.

Right photo was taken after I had the treatment. Both were taken on the same spot–near the bathroom, right in front of the clinic’s floor to ceiling glass wall. See how my skin’s more glowing on the right photo? Galing! Imagine what five or more sessions can do! So that’s why Koreans have such lovely skin, it’s because they have treatments such as this. In fact I saw two Korean girls during my visit. One just finished her treatment and the other about to do the treatment the same time I did. I might come back for another session or two and when I do, I’ll update this post and do another before and after photo to see the progress.
