Country Clubbing

Summer’s almost over and I haven’t gone to the beach yet. 🙁 I too couldn’t believe it but because of a lot of things that has happened over the weeks- lil’ Ms. GJG was confined at the hospital for one, we just had to hold off our beach trip. Thankfully, we were able to enjoy summer in our own little way. One of which is a trip to Manila Polo Club for Nuffnang’s Summer Pool Party. My lil’ Ms. GJG saw me head out as I dropped her & lil’ Mr. GJG over at their Ahma’s house. Her immediate reaction when she saw my outfit, “I wanna go swimming with mommy!” I was so tempted to bring her along but she wasn’t feeling well that day (this was the time she had her on-off fever, poor baby!) I was partly guilty of leaving her and told her I was just going for a quick meeting and will head back home soon after I’ve bought her her medicines. Partly it was a white lie but then it wasn’t because I did stopped by a drug store on my way home to buy her meds. FYI, the people at Mercury were starring at me ha. But I didn’t mind, after all it’s summertime in the LBC este in Manila. :p

I didn’t bring my kids along. I figured I want to mingle and get to know other bloggers that day so I was on break from mommy duties. Thus, I was able to have a decent outfit shots heehee. Thank you Fleur of MommyFleur.com for taking my photos.

Emote-emote lang pag may time. LOL Actually, this is as close as I’ll ever be to being a donya. Relaxing at a country club, downing on some freshly made juice (wishing it had alcohol in it but I was driving), lounging and just being lazy. Like the ladies of leisure no? Peg!

I’m blatantly putting my logo on my photos because of my poser/user incident. Anyway, it was a pool party but majority of us didn’t swim. We had fun participating in the games and got to know fellow bloggers through it.
