Hi everyone! How’s your week so far? This week is absolutely one of the busiest as I’ve been out everyday since Monday! Eeeep. So many things to do so little time. Anyway, if you notice I usually post my outfiteys every Thursday but since I’ve been out and about with the kids and no photographer in tow (calling Kelly heehee) I haven’t taken much outfit posts but I promise I will! Since we’re talking about style & fashion, I’m sharing with you all a pair of sandals that is currently one of my favorite summer items.
I’ve actually posted about this on my Instagram weeks ago and only today that I had time to sit down and blog about it. Here’s a look at Tory Burch Thora Sandals.
If you’ve been following this blog for quite some time now you’d notice I like Tory Burch. It was just this year that I’ve discovered the Thora sandals. Here’s a reveal of the pair I bought last January.
According to the SA of Tory Burch in Greenbelt, their boxes really vary in terms of shade. Later at the end of this post you’ll see a comparison. Their classic paper bag has navy blue cloth handles and apple green interior. Its sealed with a transparent sticker with a navy blue Tory Burch logo. The SA also advised that they’ll be using a different print of paper bag as of February 2013.
The typical look of an authentic Tory Burch shoe box. A sticker label that has the style no., color/code, description, suggested retail price , size and an illustration of the item. Since this pair was locally bought, the price tag comes separately.
Stuffed with stuffings. This is what it looked like when opened.
Filler made of paper to provide cushion and for the straps of the sandals to maintain its shape. As you can see, the shiny metal logo medallion is covered with cotton to protect it from scratch.
The metal logo will vary depending on the color of the straps. As for this Thora sandals in habanero pepper, the logo is gold.
The straps are made of patent leather (upper) and leather lining. Style number is printed in silver alongside other details such as size, material and where it was made.
Man made inner sole and outer rubber sole both with embossed logo.
Here’s a look at the different authentic boxes of Tory Burch. See how the colors vary? The left is the darkest, followed by the one on the right while the one in the middle looks faded.
They also differ when it comes to the sticker label. The Thora one has a bigger label while the two Revas have smaller labels.
I’m no expert when it comes to determining the authenticity of Tory Burch shoes nor the brand’s other products, I’m just merely presenting you what I know and have. My advice: Buy from the store! It’s so hard to determine knock offs from the real ones these days, so your best bet is to buy directly from the stores. Prices are actually higher but at least it is safe to know your money isn’t put to waste. As I say, never compromise quality over quantity. I’d rather have a few authentic ones that I know will last me a few good years.
Tory Burch is at the ground level of Greenbelt 5 and is also located inside Rustan’s Department Store in Shangri- La Mall.
Hope this post was helpful!

Hi! When you buy it here at the retail store, it’s at P12,000+ na compared to a few months back at P10,000+ I don’t know why they had to do price increase when in the States naman same price pa din, tax I assume? 🙂
