Our hair is our crowning glory. It can really make one’s overall look even without any make up. It can also, if properly cared and styled for, define one’s feature making them even prettier than they already are. Aminin, we women (mostly moms) tend to our hair the least especially if we’re running a household and working. We’d rather tie our hair or for some would even prefer cutting it short (to sport the wash and wear look). These are easier and less time consuming compared to blow drying or ironing one’s hair. Luckily for those who have little patience and skill to fix & style their hair, Blo Dry Bar is now here in Manila!
What’s a dry bar?
Dry bar is a concept salon that focuses on hair styling. Blo is America’s original blow dry bar. No cuts, no color just pure hair styling so you’re definitely not cheating on your hairdresser.
I was one of the lucky few who got first dibs on this new specialty concept salon that’s all about hair. I went to their Rockwell branch a day after they opened. Check out the photos that I took.
Blo Dry Bar Rockwell is the first franchise salon in Asia.
They exclusively use TriDesign products that will soon be available for sale.

Their signature service of wash, blow and go is at 500 php, you get to choose from their 7 signature styles.
Blo Dry also offers blow drying services for tweens and for men for 300 php, hair extensions for 1,000 php and even a bridal package.

Can you believe the owners of Blo Bar are men? Here I am with one of the owner- Howard Chua. He first saw this concept while watching a news show while on on a business trip abroad. When he told her wife about the concept and idea of bringing it here in the Philippines, she was on board. Howard does understand women and how we are wired differently compared to men. That it does take time and effort to look good and have perfectly styled mane.
