I am a self-confessed worry rat. Now that I am a mom of two I admit I am more paranoid than before especially when it comes to the wellness and health of my kids. With the rise of different kinds of bacteria that can contaminate what we take and ingest, one can never be too cautious.
One of the things I make conscious decisions for is what my kids eat and drink. Since our family is prone to allergies and the like, I make sure everything I give them is only the best. For something so simple and basic such as water, you’d think it’s a no-brainer since they’re all one and the same right? Nope. You’re wrong.
I’ve heard of horror stories where babies and kids suffer from stomach related diseases caused by indigestion of contaminated water. So how would you know if the water you’re drinking is safe? You’d know if it has passed the standards of NSF International, IBWA (International Bottled Water Association) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration).
NSF or National Sanitation Foundation is an independent certification body that is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) thus being one of the most reputable and credible public health and safety company in the world. NSF helps protect consumers like you and me by certifying products and writing products for food, water and consumer goods. Its ongoing public health commitment is to encourage everyone to live safer.
As a matter of fact, there’s only one bottled water brand in the Philippines that has passed the local and international standards of NSF and that is Absolute Pure Distilled Drinking Water.
Like Juday (naaaks leveling!) I have high standards too and so are other moms who only want the best for their family.
Absolute Drinking Water has been part of our household ever since our firstborn Gabbie was born. I’ve learned about it from my sister who has been using it since 1999 for her kids. Gabbie is an Absolute baby. She grew up with the brand because we, her parents only want the best for her and we wouldn’t want to settle for anything else.
My lil’ Mr. GJG is now four months old. He has a very sensitive digestion and was diagnosed with constipation. Our pediatrician advised us that we give him prune juice mixed with water to help aid his digestion. Like his sister, he is now an Absolute baby and is slowly in the process of having regular bowel movements.
I’m happy to say that I’ve made the right decision in giving only the best for my family when it comes to purified bottled water. After all, I want my family to live a safe and healthy life.

Thank you Absolute Distilled Drinking Water for making this post possible. :)

Hello Jackie. Question – are you boiling it? Kasi Absolute din ang gamit ko kay baby (he’s 10 months old) and I read somewhere na kailangan muna siyang iboil. Hindi ko binoboil yung Absolute water na binibigay ko kay baby.. so I’m starting to get worried.

Hi Audric’s mom. Naku, I don’t boil it na 🙂 Although my mom really suggested I should but I don’t want my kids to get used to boiled water naman as I know I’ll have a hard time eventually should I transition them to unboiled distilled or purified water. :: If Audric is okay naman with it then don’t burden yourself and worry about not boiling it. 🙂 I hope this helps 🙂
