As you all know, I am proud to be a New Beginnings Mum. Here are some of the photos of me together with other NB mums.
The New Beginnings Community is a group of progressive mothers who view pregnancy and motherhood in a whole new light.
What makes up a progressive mum? A progressive mum is open to new and progressive brands and products and of course new and modern ways of parenting.
Speaking of progressive products, Mustela is considered one of these progressive products because it provides natural skin care options both for babies and mums.
Mustela is a partner of New Beginnings in the Belly Buddies program. Buyers of Frisomum get a P1,000 gift voucher from Mustela when you buy Frisomum and refer 3 other friends to buy Frisomum, check out New Beginnings Belly Buddies for more details.
All of Mustela’s products are tested under pediatric and dermatological control. Ingredients compose of at least 80% to 98% from natural origins, per product. No paraben, phthalate and phenoxyethanol. No alcohol, essential oils and is hypoallergenic. Lastly, Mustela has been in the baby skin care market for 62 years, good enough years to entrust your skin and your baby’s.
My Mustela loot.
I have to say, I love Mustela’s products specifically their Nursing Comfort Nipple Cream and Support Bust Lotion as I’ve been using them after I had given birth. They have immensely helped me during the first few days and weeks of breastfeeding. I also love their Dermo Cleansing Gel for Hair and Body for newborn babies (I love that it’s mild and smells heavenly perfect for babies) as well as their Vitamin Barrier Cream for prevention of diaper rash. Since J has sensitive skin, this is a lifesaver whenever his bum gets irritated. I lather a generous amount of this cream and on his next diaper change, no more irritation.
And because New Beginnings and Mustela are both tools to hone the inner progressive mums in you, they’re holding a giveaway here on my blog. *hoooooraaaaay!*
Three basic steps: Like our Facebook pages, register at New Beginnings and answer a question.
Please follow the mechanics via Rafflecopter.

I’m about to give birth in less than a month. As a soon-to-be progressive mom, I will strive to be more earth-friendly by using cloth diapers and wipes and most of all seek out ways to foster my child’s creativity through music and movement 🙂
Denise R. Rayala says
I think I’m a progressive mum because I enrolled my daughter to a progressive school. Chos. Haha! Kidding aside, I never settled for what seemed to be a tradition. I still adhere to what the old folks have been used to doing but I always explain, especially to MIL that we have different approaches to different situations. A progressive mum sets a good example to her child and not just preach it. For example, I make sure my Sophia can drink the soda if she sees me drinking one. I might look like I don’t care about my child’s health, a sip or two won’t hurt, but the teachings of “democracy” will bring her to places. I hope I’d win this giveaway as I got hooked to Mustela Shower Gel’s scent. Super amoy may dasal! Haha! And it made my daughter’s skin looks so kutis naka-aircon. 🙂

I’m a progressive and open-minded mom ‘coz despite a lot of new baby products being introduced here and there, i don’t just jump in to join the bandwagon because of fancy advertisements. I do my own research to ensure the products are really tried and tested, at the same time safe for my baby. ‘coz there’s no compromise when it comes to my baby.

I am a progressive mommy because even if there are alot of new things in the market and even if I still consider them, I am still open to the traditional things. I still check everything before I let my son use the items since he has sensitive skin.
