Sweetness That Is Swensen’s

Sweetness is my weakness. So when I learned that there’s a new ice cream parlor that opened its door here in Manila, I was super duper excited to try it. Gabbie has a weird palette for a kid, she likes vegetables more than meat (lucky mommy!) she likes the same food her dad likes. But if there’s one thing she and I both like it would have to be ice cream!

So one weekend while having dinner at Crisostomo in Eastwood, I suddenly craved for a cold dessert. I was thinking of Red Mango but realized that Swensen’s has a store in the said mall. To my surprise it was right beside Crisostomo!

Happy giddy sweet tooth me was excited to try it and so was Gabbie.

So many ice cream concoctions to choose from! It took me more than a few minutes to decide what to get. Good thing we were quite full from dinner or else I would’ve ordered a lot! 🙂

If it were only me, I would’ve gotten a chocolate based sundae but since I’m sharing it with hubby & Gabbie we decided to get the Crispy Cocktail for P265. It’s a crispy waffle basket with tropical fruits (mango, strawberry & banana) I forgot what the flavors of the ice cream were but there was definitely vanilla.

It was surprisingly refreshing for someone like me who loves anything chocolatey, as for the hubby and Gabbie the photos below evidently shows how much they loved it.
