So I know I’ve said this a couple of times already, I love sweets! Chocolates, candies, cookies, cakes. You name it, I love it! I’ve been meaning to try and bake my version of sweets as soon as I master my manual oven that is, until then I shall indulge trying on different sweets that are readily available.
I’ve discovered another yummy treat in the form of a cupcake. I’ve first tasted Cukay’s red velvet cupcake during the Yummy Eats 2012 Hunt’s Mom-Child Cook-Off. Yes, late-bloomer lang ako! You know with tons of home made products most especially sweets, it’s so hard to try them all without gaining a few extra pounds noh? Haaaay sweetness indeed is my weakness!
After I had a sample of Cukay’s red velvet cupcake, I actually took one home to indulge on.

I was surprised that my hubby who doesn’t even have an appetite for anything sweet loved it! We shared this piece of cupcake, taking turns munching while side commenting on how creamy it is yet the sweetness was just right.
So one weekend of malling in Eastwood, we spotted Cukay’s being sold in the food bazaar. And I just couldn’t resist and bought these yummies home.
A dozen mini red velvet cuppies for P180. Sorry I forgot exactly how much a piece for the regular sized cupcake.
How can you resist this sinfully good treat?
Spongy moist red velvet.
Look at how much happiness the cuppy gave Gabbie which she fondly refers to as catcake! :p
Yummy! 🙂
It’s official, it’s our favorite red velvet cupcake! Now I cannot wait to try Cukay’s other products! 🙂

Although I’m not a fan of citrusy cakes and sweets, I guess I’m curious to try it! 🙂
