A girl can never have too much pretty things don’t you agree? And make ups are just one of those pretty things we girls just can’t resists! Although I’m not a beauty addict who collects make ups especially those limited edition ones (remind me to feature a friend of mine who is) I also find joy whenever I have something new to try on my face.
If you’ve tuned in long enough you know that I have my everyday make up essentials which help me look decent enough to cover my imperfections (read: pimples, uneven skin tone, ungroomed eyebrows, eye bags and dull lips & cheeks). I am so far happy with the products I’m currently using, pregnant or not these products still work best on my skin. But like I said, trying something new is always a good thing. I was intrigued with all the rave about the infamous lip and cheek tints from Benefit and decided to buy and try these tints out of curiosity.
I asked Kelly of www.kellymedina.net while he was in the states to buy me the coveted Benefit tints, so happy he said yes! Thanks again Kelly! 🙂

Three different tints with different shades. I’m all giddy! 🙂
This feminine shade of pink gives an instant glow on your lips & cheeks.
Showing you the actual shade of Posie tint. Sorry, just a dab would do since I can show you the actual shades applied on my face in one of my outfitey posts. As you can see the consistency spells creamy and thicker than the usual lip and check tint. Careful though for once applied you have to immediately blend it or else it’ll stain the area once it sets in (about 10 seconds).
This mango colored tint is currently my favorite. The strong orange tone is actually subtle when applied and it perfectly compliments a morena’s skin (that’s me).
When this is blended, a nice soft orange color sets in. Chacha tint is also nice for morenas like me for it instantly brightens my skin, this is currently my favorite shade.
Spot my hand that has tainted tints? That’s because it’s sets in quickly. As for this Benetint, the consistency is a bit watery compared to the two previous shades of tint.
THE OVERALL VERDICT: 4 clovers
There’s variety of shades to choose which sets it apart from other lip and cheek stains. I would’ve loved it even more if instead of the nail polish brush they could’ve put a sponge applicator instead, that would’ve made application easier and less messier. Value for money is relative since it retails for P1,600 each but since you only need a dab or two per cheek as well as the lips, a bottle can last you weeks of everyday use coz a little application goes a long way.
