Who kid would not want to spend a day playing? I don’t know anyone. So when Gabbie & I were invited for a play date with other Mom bloggers and their kids we immediately said yes!
Gabbie is used to playing with adults. Me, her dad, her Ahma, Angkong, Tita and now our house help who she fondly calls “Ate”. She seldom plays with her cousins who all go to school but now that it’s officially the end of school and the start of summer, I think play dates can be scheduled a lot easier.
Every time we go out on weekends for Gabbie, she really gets very excited and giddy whenever we bring her to a toy store or play center. You’d see her face all glowing and her eyes lighting up as soon as she sees the colorful signage. Non-stop jumping and happy babbling are her common reactions. Those are exactly what she did when she saw Kidzville’s Play and Party Center in The Podium Mall.

Pardon the not so great photos, it’s really hard to take pictures when you’re out watching over your kid.
Kidzville is the one stop place for kids to have an ultimate day of fun. There’s so much to do that an hour isn’t enough for your kid to do everything. Did I mention the rates are affordable too?
The store will greet you with a posh area full of pretty things for little girls as well as for mommies too!
Makeover area for little girls by Club Princess, price starts at 95 php. You can have a hairstyle makeover, make up, glimmer tattoo, hand and foot services too.
Mani-pedi foot spa services for moms & dads while waiting for their kids to finish playing. Sadly, I wasn’t able to experience their pampering services as I was too busy watching over Gabbie & taking pictures.

First stop, The Play Maze.
The Play Maze helps the kids’ motor skills by exposing them to different shapes, obstacles and activities that require them to walk, balance, climb and even crawl.
Gabbie’s favorite toy will always be balls! She can play with them all day long!
Kids + balls = endless fun.
Play time isn’t complete without a giant slide!
Colorful big bubble tubes caught G’s attention, looks lovelier at night when the different lights of the tube are visibly seen.
Safety first. Everything’s wrapped with foam padding to eliminate injury from bumps and tumbles.
Let’s now go to The Village. I myself was very giddily upon entering the village. It mainly promotes role playing for kids to experience different professions as well as scenarios. I love that there’s so much effort put into details. Everything is just cute and adorable, makes me want to be a kid again.

After a fun time at The Play Maze and at The Village Gabbie & I tried out Kindermusik.
What I like about Kindermusik Village- the program we attended which is suitable for newborn to 1 1/2 years old, is that it stimulates communication for kids. They’re able to explore whatever instruments the teachers used in order to engage them to participate and discover their abilities.
It also encourages participation through singing along, reading along and dancing along the activities.

It also nurtures bonding between you and your kid. Gabbie & I enjoyed dancing around the maypole.
A good bonding time between parents and kids.

Gabbie intently listened to the teacher and actively participated as she points out what she saw on the book.
Gabbie soon warmed up and was happy doing activities with Teacher Jill and the rest of the group.

Everyone gets a prize, a nice stamp remark for actively participating.
Now we’re thinking of enrolling Gabbie to Kindermusik. Come the next day she was singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat and was acting out some of the activities we did. She was even looking for Teacher Jill.
The studio inside Kidzville where our Kindermusik class was held also houses different workshops from Trumpets, Movement Inc, Hiphop Dance Class, Zumba for Moms and more!
We even witnessed a group hold their Hip Hop Dance Class. Oooh if only I wasn’t pregnant, I would have definitely join them!
You can also have your birthday party inside Kidzville, there’s a variety of party packages to choose from. Surely, your guests both young and old are bound to have a wonderful time.
