Black is the absence of light and white is the presence of it while gray is neutral. These three colors have been part of my wardrobe which I’ve always loved mixing and matching. You can never go wrong with these three combined.
I wore this outfit during a blogger’s luncheon for Zen Zest. I’m sporting my 18 weeks belly too!
I love the play of monochrome as well as the texture of the overall look. Despite being monochrome, it still looks interesting don’t you agree? π
Make sure to use a statement top that is relatively long so that it looks good over your leggings. I never really liked wearing leggings with a top that exposes the crotch, really is a fashion no-no. Remember, leggings are not jeans so be careful how you wear it!
Go for a natural look. I just filled my eyebrow, put an eyeliner, curled my lashes and used a lip & cheek tint stain for that fresh, simple look.
My favorite accessory is this piled up bracelets, bangles and watch. It’s the quickest way to accessorize an outfit without compromising the over all look, it instantly gives an oomph factor that’s definitely a no-brainer.
To give texture to your look, wear a stand out top. One that can be dramatic based on its silhouette, cut or design. Since my gray leggings is sleek as well as my cropped blazer, I balanced my over all outfit with this ruffle top.
THE OUTFITEY:
White ruffled top: Forever 21
Black cropped blazer: Zara (thrifted)
Gray leggings: Topshop
Silver flats: Tory Burch
