I’ve noticed that I am very fond with the shades of green and blue. Well, I’ve always liked green, hey its my favorite color after all. As for blue I always feel like it compliments my skin tone, me being a morena.
*sighs* Aren’t they lovely? Well, you can see my love for these shades in some of my outfitey posts seen here, here and here. Why am saying this? Well lately I’ve been looking at my photos and stumbled upon a few pictures of my well groomed nails. I love having my nails done, I usually have it made at certain nail spas around my area but it’s impractical if done often. So I’ve managed to collect (collect daw?) colorful shades over the last few years, you can see some of my nail polish here. If you clicked on the link, you’ll notice I don’t have any green polish and I’m still looking for another different shade of blue. I don’t know, but for me the shades of green and blue are both refreshing and makes me feel very much glamourous!
Speaking of refreshing, here’s one polish that I’d like to have.
I really have to commend the ladies who take time and effort on painting their nails and sharing their creations w/ their fellow netizens especially their unique polish finds. Just like one blog I follow, Pam Pastor’s Polish Police has given me the inspiration to not take my nails for granted. Given I’m busy handling errands and chores most of the time, I actually prefer having bare (but somewhat groomed) nails because well, mostly it is more comfortable and convenient to prepare meals for my family. But once in a while I reward myself to a nail spa or even just allot time to do my nails. Also, I make sure I give my nails time out from all the chemicals the polish brings. My nails can be a bit sensitive, it turns yellow and brittle easily even with the use of nail strengthening products, so by letting them breathe at least a week or two, I’m actually helping them regain their natural strength. Okay enough of my nail dilemma, point is this sub-category was created to share one of the common interests of girls: sporting pretty well-groomed nails. Hoooooray! *big smile*
Now, I’d like to share with you all some of the nail polishes I’ve come to love. I’ve also created a new category called Polish Preview filed under Go Wear!
Here’s the first polish preview:
The shade of China Glaze Re-fresh Mint is a mix of green/blue with a base of gray shade. Well at least that’s how I interpret it. LOL Not an expert with the proper terms but in layman’s term I hope you get what I mean.
There you go! Hope you like the polish preview. Weekend is finally here! And I actually painted my nails today. But that’s reserved for another polish preview.
That’s all!
Happy Weekend!
