Holiday madness is upon us. You, me we all get stressed at some point during the holidays. As a homemaker I admit there are times I couldn’t prepare food for my family. So on days when my kids want a satisfying home cooked meal I rely on the easiest dish to make and one of my kids’ favourites as well, pasta!
If you follow me on Instagram you know by now that I prepared at 10-minute dish the other night when I went home late. It’s easy really and you only need 4 ingredients!
CONTADINA SHRIMP PESTO PASTA
Ingredients:
Contadina Spaghetti
Contadina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Contadina Pesto Sauce
1/4 kilo shrimp
Three easy peasy steps:
- Cook Contadina pasta in boiling water (cook a bundle–about the size of a 5 peso coin–of spaghetti noodles) for about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside
- In a pan, drizzle Contadina Extra Virgin Olive Oil and sauce shrimp until it turns orange. Set aside.
- In the same pan, cook Contadina pasta in olive oil and add Contadina pesto sauce, depending on how much you want it (I only used half a bottle). Add back the shrimp and saute until it is evenly coated with the sauce. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
That’s it! Easy peasy! Home cooked pasta dish for your family to enjoy!
